I think I've reached that point in life where I hate my job and will always hate my job
by Elsewhere inremember when you were a kid and you saw the funny bits in shows about how someone hates their job and just goes to work to pay the bills.
i think i've reached that point in my life.. i hate my job.. i used to love the work i do... but the way a corporation crushes your soul and leaves you as an empty husk of your former self has finally taken its toll on me.. i used to look forward to the challenges of work... now i wake up, go to work, do what i have to do to get through the day and then go home.. .
it's totally absurd but i find myself literally fantasizing about winning the lottery so i can get my soul back..

Do YOU donate blood?

if you don't, why not?.

NO!. I'm afraid of needles I don’t even get injections if I’m injured (e.g. tetanus) if I can convince the doctor otherwise.

How miserable are Witless Kids REALLY?
by hamsterbait in25 years ago i lived in an apartment overlooking the grounds of the local high school.. at the time i still totally believed the lie.
a lot of the dub students went to my hell.. i noticed looking out my window, that the witless kids always looked miserable and isolated.
yet in the kingdumb hell they would behave almost euphorically.. what was going on?.

When I was a Good little JW child I think I was happy. As I got older and started to notice all the restrictions on my sisters and I did really start to hate and resent it.
The one thing I’m incredibly grateful for NEVER GOT BAPTISED!

Taking my JW parents to a worldly relative's funeral
by boyzone inon wednesday this week, my wonderful cousin james died of cancer.
he was only 38 and had a beautiful wife and young family.
his parents (my aunt and uncle) are naturally devastated and want all the extended family to attend his funeral which will be held in a church this coming thursday 25th feb.. as you can imagine, my jw parents have refused to go to the church service even though they will be at the gathering afterwards.

You could give them an alternative the alterative we give to our mother is she doesn't have to actually go into the church but can sit in the foyer or outside to support the Family. However my fathers not JW and expects some lavel of respect from her which is why they came to this deal.

Jehovah's Witness warning: "Watch out for the movie Avatar".
by Cindi_67 inthis is an email i received from my brother in law:.
after discussing with our family and several friends about the popular movie avatar, and the prevalence of "avatars" on the internet, we thought that other friends might be interested in what we found in our family worship research, tell us what you think:.
merriam-websterdictionary - avatar: the incarnation of a hindu deity (as vishnu).

When I was a child they banned “Casper the friendly ghost” because it was spirtistic. Nothing surprises me anymore!
