Bleep, perhaps you are not aware of how your Watchtower CD works. If you have the year and page number, I am pretty sure you do not need to know the month of the Watchtower article.

Scripture to Back Beliefs

we have close friends who secretly became jw's.

now that they are "out" they say that war is wrong and our son shouldn't join the military.

we know that war is not what god wants, however, we need scripture to back defending our country and protecting our loved ones.

When my honey gets hot under the collar about birthdays and Christmas, repeating ad nauseum that these celebrations are not in the bible, I remind him that computers are not in the bible either. And we're not giving them up. Also, last I checked, there were no beheadings at the birthdays I went to.

You guessed Bleep to be twelve. I found that amazingly insigtful. I have not had such fruitless arguments since my own son was twelve. I also, sincerely hope Bleep is not older...

Based on Mark 7:14, it appears to me that it is much easier to gain the approval of Jehovah by watching what we say than by the blood we ingest.

Again, Bleep. I think it is much less important what I think about Jehovah than what He thinks about ME.

I echo Minimus. Who cares what you or I think? What do the Holy Scriptures say about the matter? And I maintain that Jehovah is far more than a spirit being or a people. Also based on the scriptures.

Are you implying, Bleep, that you will have the likeness of a god in that you will live forever? What of the other qualities of Jehovah, which I have listed above? Will you grow a long white beard in the image of Jehovah as well?
