  Thanks to your participation, I am getting some UNEXPECTED RESULTS from my little survey. Apparently there are at least eight insominac XJW's who respond to fluff threads late on a Friday night. That is .0138% of registered users.

  3 out of 10 of this representative group

  • Take showers. Oops, I mean sing in the shower.
  • Took a weapon to school . Is this shocking only to a Canadian?
  • Have had credit card fraud/ATM fraud happen to them.
  • Laugh when I ask them if they sing in a chorus.

  DakotaRed, I did not count your pocketknife, since you didn't.

  Joannadandy is our mascot for questioning if life is worthwhile. Congratulations, Joanna, for meeting our statistical target! By the way, I decided to love life fiercly after getting knocked around a bit. I hope you question only occassionally, and more along the lines that brainiac Solomon did.

  I loove the way you guys answer. Transylvania Telephone and Power...s hakespearian anthologies as the weapon of choice....singing the family to sleep LOL.

  I was the only morning person in my family. I tried EVERYTHING to wake my daughter up in a positive frame of mind. Singing. Tickling. Whispering. Gentle alarm clocks. Raucous alarm clocks. The smell of bacon and eggs wafting up the stairs. Shouting UP AN AT EM'!!. I should have quit and gone straight to coffee.

  since i have stopped attending the meetings, i have had a loss of faith in god.

  i consider myself an agnostic teetering on being a full blown atheist.

  while in school this last semester i have been taking courses that emphasize evolution.

  As a Christian, I believe I am on safer ground when I restrict myself to describing what I have seen and heard. My guess is that is what Jesus was getting at when he asked us to be witnesses. One of my major pet peeves with Jehovah's Witnesses is that when I ask them about their experience with God, they pull out their book bag! Their faith is so impersonal.

  Why I believe cannot be summarized in a sentence or two. I have tried, and it just sounds glib. I posted my whole story on JGnat Says Hi. The whole thing is six pages long single spaced, so I suggest you have a hot cocoa handy.

  Keep searching, SP. The journey itself is worthwhile.

  If I believed all I read, I could confidently say that an informal survey here would provide the same result. Could you help me with a little fun? Let me know what country you are from (since the above are based on the American Experience). And if you are a 1 in 10.

  I will go first:

  2. No - but every Canadian comes from somewhere else

  3. No - But mine was stolen once.

  i will start.... number 1) two people have to witness a sin before it is reported to the superior authorities....making me the org the last word in all areas.. the most stupid rule gets to post it once the gb has judged it the most stupid?

  Some times in life, it just rains.

  this last june my wife and i were invited to a close friends wedding.

  june it a normally a hot month in our area, with blue skies and temperature in the mid nineties.

  it is not unusual for people to plan outdoor weddings, and take advantage of our nice summer climate.
