Ambassadors and Envoys for Christ

Since 1914, spirit-anointed Christians can properly be spoken of as ambassadors for Gods Kingdom, if which they are sons....Further, Jehovah has brought out of the nations a great crowd of other sheep, Christians wit an earthly hope, to support the anointed sons in their ambassadorial work....These other sheep can be termed envoys of Gods Kingdom.

I laughed when I read this. Since the WTS has cut off the heavenly hope for the great majority of other sheep, the WTS cannot apply this biblical instruction to them. To be foreigners and ambassadors in the world one has to be a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. Other sheep, being citizens of this world, are merely hired staff for Jehovahs ambassadors, the anointed. Yet, the other sheep are to remain separate from the world just like the ambassadors. The WTS is stuck going beyond what is written and coin a separate term , envoys for the other sheep, though there was never any distinction made in the bible.

In reality, even though ambassadors themselves are neutral and exempt from the laws of the land (being subject to the laws of their own country), their staff are not similarly protected.

I was rather sharp with my honey when we studied this article last night. I chalk up my lousy mood to spending too much time in the company of Yardif. My honey lost his temper at this point in the article, and made the comment:

Ok, ok then. The anointed crap on the golden toilet, and the envoys use the bronze toilet. Whats your point?

Too funny. He might have also been upset because the worship of sports stars was specifically mentioned.

i was putting clothes in the dryer the other day and went to turn it on and it wouldn't start.

i couldn't figure out what was wrong since i had just taken some clothes out of the same dryer.

i looked down and noticed i hadn't closed the dryer door .

Being a very forgetful person, my stories are endless. Like

Calling the locksmith because I had lost my keys and locked myself out of the house, only to realize I had left them on the front step all night.
Driving my car to work and taking the bus back to the babysitters. My sitter grumbled all the way as she drove me back to my car.
Leaving a friend's video camera at the bus stop. It was gone when I got back to check.
Paying my children to find my glasses.
Leaving my cell-phone and palm pilot on the train. As it was near the end of the line, I waited for the train to circle back. Sure enough. Both were sitting on my seat where I left them.
Losing my bag lunch twice in the same week. I only confessed to one of them. My honey found it at the bus stop.

But my most embarrassing moment to date was the late night I babysat my sweet Naomi while her mom checked out her undiagnosed fever at the emergency clinic. Naomi had gone to bed thinking mommy was home. She woke up at midnight crying and inconsolable. I comforted her best I could, but she woke up every time I tried to leave her bed to my own room. I ended up sleeping with her for the rest of the night. Or at least until 4:00 AM, when she sleepily groped for mommy's breast. Just try fending off a determined two year old, groping for mammary glands she KNEW were there. She went for the buttons. She pulled at my nightie. I felt like a blushing virgin.

Is this they kind of apocalyptic event proplog2 was waiting for? I suggest he put away the abacus and take a walk in the fresh air.

well this is what happened.. i was talking to a buddy, and i told him, "i don't know what to get my wife for her birthday.

overcome by emotion as a parent.......

this afternoon i was sitting in my kitchen watching my three year old son playing.

he was humming to himself while playing w/trucks.

i watched his little hands as they moved the toys around, i listened to his sweet little voice.

Good news, Scootergirl. The moments keep coming. My twentysomething daughter does it for me when she casually tells an acquaintance what a good job I did raising her. And I get to see it all again with my granddaughter Naomi.

A tip. I wrote down the adorable sayings my kids said for a couple of years before my kids entered school. They get dug out once in a while, and the three of us sit down and read them and have a chuckle.

moral dilemna

i have been df'd for a good long time and have gone/going through the different stages of the healing process but i dont think that i am anywhere to giving up all of my deep-seated anger and hostility that i continue to have.

i have gotten attatched to it, ironically enough.

my moral and maybe somewhat ethical delimmna is: i am in a service provider position and i provide translation services for members of a specific community of interest...problem is that a certain person has come into my focus of the world...an elder.......a great many bones in my body want to manipulate and maneuver his life into the palm of my hand....then crush him.

Once I started looking at him as a plain less than average human the power of the word "elder" kind of became a joke...it was rather odd actually but it worked

You were able to see him as just another human like us. I am sure it would be a humbling experience if he knew.

Where do I go for support???

i would love some support since i am scared and confused, but i don't know where to turn.

my husband and i are both having our eyes opened wide after years of doubts.

we have finally read the "apostate literature" over the past few weeks and have checked and rechecked their sources.

For information on how to help your children, check out Amazing's website. He got his entire family out in a gentle and loving way. You have already taken the biggest step, and made a mental separation from the society.

I take it you know where you don't want to be, but are not sure where you are going. Give yourself time and breathing room. It is indeed fortunate that your partner is alongside with you. As head of the household, why not have him start some independent bible studies at home? Try using the bible alone, and pick a topic that interests you like Love, Family Living, the Beatitudes? Such activity should not rouse suspicion down at the hall, and will give your whole family time to adjust.

a long-held teaching of the wts is that god allowed time after the fall of adam and eve to demonstrate to all creation the rightness of his rule.

this is again repeated in a current issue of the watchtower:

why did god not immediately destroy the first human couple along with satan, the invisible instigator of their rebellion?
