  so, in my bible study i can see we are approaching chapter 4 of "what does the bible really teach" about daniels profecy.

  the book says: "another example is about the profecy of daniel 9:25, a profecy which many centuries in advance predicted exactly when messias would appear - in the year 29".

  there is a small appendix which ties this up to wether artaxerxes 20th year was in 455bc (455bc + 7x69weeks, ie.

  Uhm - did anybody else notice that NOTHING HAPPENED in 1914?

  1914 is the ONLY REASON for the Jehovah's Witnesses to hold onto this stupid 607 BCE nonsense. Their apostate population (yes, that is we the people here) are probably the only ones they have that remember all the twisted linkage of how these ancients came up with the number. After, of course, also the 1874, 1918, 1925, 1975, etc.

  It is meaningless not because of ArtaXerxes, the ancient manuscripts, Freddy, and the rest -

  I don't think this particular use would be considered fair use.

  From what I have seen, the websites that have been challenged by the WTBTS on copyright issues contain all, or nearly all, of Watchtower publications and add very little or no commentary. It seems that these would be hard to defend on fair use grounds.

  Still, I can't understand why Examining the Scriptures Daily is not available through the watchtower.org website.

  On the other hand, if their heart were true - then WHY would they object if someone spread further their "good news"?
