  i stopped trying to sing the songs last meeting.

  it felt like a combination of chanting and stepping on a cat.

  it is terrible.

  Well, nine pages of this crap to get down to one fundamental question - which, naturally, is not answered.

  Eight pages on another thread where this guy pretends to have turned around and is not really a troll any more.

  Seventeen wasted pages right there - not to mention about a dozen other threads that read just about the same.

  Status of poster as unrepentant troll is clear enough for this observer.

  The Dawkins Delusion

  so, i recently finished reading "the god delusion" by richard dawkins.

  i read it with a certain amount of hesitation.

  after all, i am still recovering from my disappointment at realizing that the wts is not god's organization.

  I felt as if sometimes I was reading propagandist arguments. Many times I caught myself thinking that this didn't seem like an honest examination of the facts, but merely someone wanting to "convert" others.

  Yes, "convert" others, but also gain fame, publicity and sell books.

  This is exactly what puts me off about Dawkins, even though I happen to agree with many of his points.

  Can anyone explain why they are so obsessed with the lapel cards and

  who has them, etc???

  Apparantly, the lapel cards are a one-use-only item which they have to wear (at all times while there!!!) to attend the school that goes along with this new elders book. This proves you are a real elder and not a space-clone who slept too close to the seed pods overnight.

  At least, that is as much sense as I could make of it...

  What do you mean by "generation"?

  Never mind.

  I don't want to know.

  You don't NEED to know, unless you are an elder. That information is controlled on an elder's-need-to-know basis. You do not even have an elders lapel card.
