she is seen threatening or attempting to hit a law enforcement officer who was doing his duty.
the officer had to hit her face.
For those who think he overreacted, while I understand your viewpoint, I'm also sure that if that overgrown girl (regardless of color) ran up on you like that you would not mind someone decking her in the face to control the situation.
Plus the fact that there were two of them confronting him...too easy to get judgemental on this after the fact. It went down pretty fast, and of course these girls were simply asking for trouble.

use the "search inside" feature to find the discussion of the golden age on pages 131 and 132.. among other things it says: "unbelievably, the golden age published over 130 articles railing against aluminium cookware between 1925 and 1969".. did the society continue to publish articles against aluminum as late as 1969?
I thought that this was kind of like the 7,000 year creative days - they never really renounced it, they just kind of quietly quit publishing articles against aluminum pans somewhere along the way.
I kind of had the idea that it died out in the 1950s or so...

I think that is a dangerous precedent - for obvious reasons.
BTW, I think the cop in this case probably could have found something to settle this a little less than punching the girl, but those girls were asking to be arrested. The shame of it is that due to the public attention, they will slide on this one.

JWoods, I think you are right...this poster was quirky from the start.

I don't know if others remember this, but there was within the ranks of the elders (at the start of the elder arrangement, complete with the "rotation of elders") a lot of talk about how the society was moving away from the notion of a single president at the head of the organization. This was also at about the time of the death of Knorr.
The inside word seemed to be that the GB had taken over what had been assumed a natural succession of Freddy Franz to presidential status.
However, not long after this notion got promoted, sure enough - a Watchtower came out and specifically pointed up Freddy as "the new president in line with Russell, Rutherford, and Knorr" and included his picture in the issue. It was viewed by many as a manifestation of Freddy's ego and fight with the whole idea of the governing body at the time.
Looks like this human pride of the WTBTS leadership is very tempting - I think this brochure is another case in point. Like someone else said, not even other GB members seem to have had this kind of thing done for their passing. It made me wonder if this little brochure was not somehow tied in to a power play to see who now becomes the new man at the helm.

Isaac, there have been at least half a dozen threads started on senseless & bizarre sex topics by the OP besides this nonsense (which as you and others have said have been covered in great detail here before). IIRC, this poster has also referred to the circuit overseer as "the bishop" more than once here - inexplicable for a person who is actually a witness.
If a person cannot simply see that nothing of religious significance happened in 1914, then delving into all this secular chronology is useless.

1914 was a lie because what they prophecied (the coming of Christ and the end of this system of things) did not happen.
That is all the proof you need that the related 607 was meaningless, and the chronology to get to 1914 was meaningless.
