My point exactly. Jehovah creates and has the ability to control the energy required to start the Universe as we know it. The big bang theory just says there must have been an enormouse release of energy at that point. It is right. Stephen Hawkings has never been able to show where that energy came from, so he hasn't denied that it could be God. When someone lumps the notion of a Big Bang in with aetheism it makes them sound like the idiots who really do believe that the earth and the universe are 6000 years old.

Reniaa, Don't let yourself sound ill-informed. The big bang is a logical explanation of how an extremely small and extremely dense entity (? the singularity)was able to overcome the extreme gravitational forces exerted by it's very existence in order to expand to form the unverse. The universe IS expanding (the WTS acknoledge this in the Creator book, and provable by the Doppler effect), so it must have started small and got bigger. The energy required for this would have been enough to cause a very big bang. How did the big bang initiate? I know what I believe...........and the reason why? In the wake of an explosion we see Chaos but with the big bang we see order, which is why I believe it was initiated and controlled by a creator.

Ex jw wife

allow my ex wife to be free and marry.. saturday night she called out of the blue ( maybe there is a god upthere looking down) after 3 years of not talking to her and she wants to meets.. we met last night and after small talk about how we are both doing and family stuff, she asked me if i would write a letter.
freeing her or releasing her from our marriage without admitting adultery, since i don't believe in the bible anymore,.

As a kid I liked Led Zepplin, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and other Heavy Metal music, but always felt, fearful that I was letting the demons in. I bought Paranoid 3 times and kept throwing it out. My mother asked an elder to speak to me about my music and he said, that Satan was always going to have the best music, so he could draw as many away from Jehovah as possible. That explains why the Kingdom Maladies are so crap - can't wait for new song book, new super dooper songs to learn.

Oompa, Absolutely, I am certainly not encouraging them to get baptised, and i'm certain that my wife wouldn't want them to consider baptism until they are old enough to really understand what they are undertaking. We were both baptised in our late teens, and I know she cringes at kids getting baptised. I think they need to finish college before contemplating any lifelong commitment. By then I am sure I would have sorted out my own position (which is becomimg clearer - ohhhh the light is getting brighter must be the truth!!!) and maybe plucked up the courage to do what I feel is right. So much to gain - So much to lose!!!!

I accept no one is perfect and people will make mistakes. My children make mistakes and when they do I expect them to apologise. How often have the GB, CO, DO Cong Elders apologise for their mistakes. What have they done to rectify the heartache and personal damage that their mistakes have caused?
Love, Justice, Wisdom and Power are gods attributes, these should be reflected by those in authority in his organisation. I see lots of power with the leadership (arguably abuse of it), Some love, but very little justice and wisdom. Justice would dictate that all those who been df'd for things that are now accepted (such as use of Factor VIII as one example) should automatically be reinstated and publicly apologised to.
