Examples of Watchtower lying to the press?

i refer to this thread where a poster said that if we ring bethel they confirm that the 2 witness rule no longer applies to cases of paedophilia anymore.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/child-abuse/286880/1/consider-the-outcome-when-elders-apply-the-two-witness-rule.

it has been commented that the watchtower(r) spokespersons may make statements to placate the public or press but the actual reality is very different in reality.. i am interested in having a collection of these lies or spin in one thread (probably been done before).. i list firstly the article about 'mentally diseased apostates' from the uk press.. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/war-of-words-breaks-out-among-jehovahs-witnesses-2361448.html.

see what jw spokesperson rick fenton says against what the reality is.. .

I AGREE WITH THE JWs: THE 'SOUL' DOESN'T EXIST

i agree with the witnesses about almost nothing, but i do think they have the right idea when it concerns the 'soul'.

it is my belief that there is no such entity as a 'soul' that resides in a human being.

the idea originated in ancient, pre-scientific eras.

i used to be an elder for more than 20 years .

i have successfully faded with my wife and children.
