  Without a universal absolute, we have no foundation to say that Pedophilia is or isnt wrong.

  Our abhorrance of paedophilla has strengthened as we understand more about the psychological damage it can cause. In the same way our view of slavery has changed through the centuries as we realised that their is no such thing as an inferior race. This IMO demonstrates the subjectivity of morals and how increased knowledge moves our moral goal posts.

  Incidently neither of the above are condemned by that monstrous book "The Bible".

  BBC Radio 4 reference to 607 Babylonian conquest?

  was listening to bbc radio 4 late sunday night, and in a programme about migration, they referenced the "babylonian conquest of jerusalem in 607 b.c.

  " which caught my attention.. did they not mean 587 b.c., or did i understand it wrong?.

  anointed jws have heavenly hope, including the esteemed privilege of reigning as kings and priests with jesus christ.

  while they preach and share practially the same spiritual activities as members of the other sheep (os) do, an anointed jw has a greater distinction.. come now the disfellowshipping standards.

  My frist email letter from my JW Dad. So sad...

  i am in my early 30s and woke up to ttatt in late 2012. my dad just turned 65 in june!

  wow, i never saw that being possible.. .

  he just got himself a computer and was able to get internet in a remote location where he is serving as an elder with my mom (where the need is great) i was happy to see how he was able to send me a few notes saying hi and i was able to share some pictures of my wife and family, etc.. .
