just a little history back during hitlers reign, the witnesses were not persecuted, in fact they were in good standing with him!!!!

Wonder what would happen if Dateline did a follow up story on this with the "Dr's" statement about not knowing it was gonna cause any long lasting effects on the child (Plus, of course, they didn't notify any authorities because it wasn't even viewed as a serious crime) contrasting the WT and Awake! articles (And maybe a scripture or two <G>) ..
I think Dateline would just eat the hypocrisy of the WTBTS up for lunch (and, once one media network get's a good frenzy going, it probably won't be long before the others follow!!!)...
Oh, and you could just tell from how the lady talked that she didn't believe what she was saying either!!!!

If it is the article I think it is (The one that says you should 'fear' even talking with apostates for they can cause you to lose your faith) I think I have an interesting rebuttal.. Probably the FIRST time their own reasoning book was correct about something..!!!
Please note the advise given in the last paragraph (From bible scripture no less) on "For persons facing persecution because of doing god's will" (The section is entitled ENCOURAGEMENT).. [4th paragraph on page 119]

Just to check, is there ANY apostate here that is afraid of talking to a JW about scripture? Obviously the same cannot be said of a JW talking to an apostate... Their own reasoning book has shown them their fate...................
