  JW "policy" .vs. Personal conscience

  i've been trying to show my jw friend that the organization has 'policies' that one must follow.. he keeps telling me the standard line, it's your personal conscience... .

  for instance, in the no blood "policy", he argues that it is his conscience choice, he isn't 'told' he cannot take policy, it's his bible-based <gag> conscience that keeps him from taking blood.. .

  then i retort what would happen if they get new light on that issue, does that mean that his conscience get's new light also?

  Bringing reproach on the organization..

  hey, i got a question... the jw's won't even let the men have beards for 'fear' that the 'image' will scare some of the people while going door-to-door (or at least that was the reason i was given why beards are bad)... why is it that they are being hypocritical (i know, hard to believe they are hypocrits huh?

  ) and allowing even potential child molesters from going door-to-door?

  after all, if they don't want to stumble anyone with a beard, why would they allow someone to be stumbled with an accusation of child molestation hanging around them?

  there was a wt article recently dealing with apostates, and stated that you should 'fear' even talking to them because they can cause you to lose your faith.. nemesis, i believe you talked about it in this thread (if it's the article i think it is)... http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=25544&site=3&page=2.

  can someone please scan that article for me.. i cannot find the wt (i'm not even sure what the date is, but i think it's the article you are talking about nemesis.. i have an interesting rebuttal for it from their very own reasoning book.. check the link)...
