  JW Hmmmm, Some of them was mean to me

  last monday 4:45 pm(westcoast time), i'm at the gas station getting gas, and drinking some good cream soda., *seems like a normal day* anybody who lives near the burbank area, already knows it's alot of them jw's walking around... anyway, 2 women come up to me and hand me some wt books(hell fire or something like that), etc, we talking, blah, blah... <i>so then i told them, i have'nt been to a church or kingdom hall since i was 7(now i'm 20/13 years), and i told them that, i gain bible knowledge from god the father and the messiah christ jesus, i study at home, cause i'm wise, plus i'm righteous, and i'm legendary, so i dont need to gather around people who aint teaching right, and besides i feel alot better by myself anyway, cause god clearly said's he will teach the wise what they need to know</i>

  We don't care about what book the Watchtower publishing and printing company has made the most copies of.. If it meant that much to us, we'd probably be JW's so we could find out this coveted piece of information.

  But, then again, obviously this is privy information to the JW community itself.. Therefor, why are you trying to gossip about it with non-JW's?

  And just think about all the gossip the Apostates can speak about.

  Don't you hate it when you shoot yourself in the foot with comments like this?

  Sure, it would be easy to pass up the NWT bible.. That is only 1 version of the bible, printed by only one publishing company... The BIBLE in all it's versions still is the #1 published book in history!!!

  Good point but who has the most published book? I bet no one knows except JW's.

  Who is the wrong question, I think you mean what is the most published book..

  The Answer: The Bible..

  And, did you know that your organization has only been publishing the bible for the past 100 years, while the rest of the world has been publishing the bible for about 2,000 years?

  If you mean who, then you have to state that there are many publishing companies, besides the Watchtower publishing company, that produce copies of the bible. And there are many versions of the bible, besides the NWT.. Your company only produces the NWT, while many other publishing companies produce different versions at the same time.. I have a NKJ, KJ, and NIV all published by the same company!!!

  And, No, I'm not nor have I ever been a JW!

  And finally, it's all in how you interpret the bible that's what causes you to keep reaching dead ends...

  if you do get involved in anyone, seek out verifiable data. Trolls will provide some data that will lead to dead ends; real people will provide some data that is open-ended and leads to a myriad of sources which enable you to verify their genuine status

  i am not currently a jw but i really want to do some private study of your bible.... i live in a remote area of yorkshire and there are no kingdom halls about.

  are there any websites (that deliver to the uk) where i can order a wt bible in the hope of becoming a jw in the future?.

  I believe you can just write to the society and ask for a copy, along with a free bible study..

  I wasn't aware that Satan was ever df'd from the WT.. I always thought he was the one guiding them :-)

  hi everyone.. my name is caspian, i am an elder in a congregation in england.. i have been reading this forum for about 12 months, never having the confidence to log in.. however after all the information that has come to light in the recent weeks, i feel that i need to start coming to terms with the crisis that i now feel.. i am a third gen jw, and been an elder for 15 years, my family whom i love dearly are all naive fully committed jw's.. please if any current or ex elders in a similar situation care to make any good advice.
