BROTHER PRINCE DISFELLOWSHIPED !!
by elder-schmelder inreports have been heard that brother price has been getting his 10 hours of field circus in for awhile, allowing him to get the privilege to carry the mics at the kingdumb hall.
the 1st time he was handed the microphone (with the stick attached (we all know what ones i am talking about)) he started thrusting it in a very innapropiate way (pornia).
this caused the elders to end the meeting right there and form a judicial hearing.

Don't You Hate It When A Witness Says "We Miss You At Meetings?"
by Wasanelder Once indon't you hate the hypocrisy when you run into a witness you haven't seen in over 5 years (even thought they live less than five miles away in the same town) and they say, "we miss you at the meetings?
" they can't call or stop bye to say hello, but they miss me at the meetings.
what crap.

Ha! The people that usually say that to me never talk to me at meeting. I always want to call them on that.

Ok, I got out my medical terminology book and I'll paraphrase what it says.
Blood is "fluid tissue" in the body, composed of 55% liquid plasma and 45% formed elements.
Plasma, which is 90% water, contains nutients, hormones, and waste products. Fibrinogen and prothrombin are the clotting proteins and serum is plasma fluid. The formed elements of the blood include erythrocytes (red blood cells), leukocytes (white blood cells), and thrombocytes (platelets).
Red blood cells transport oxygen to tissues. Hemoglobin, the iron-containing pigment in blood cells, is what actually transports the oxygen.
White blood cells include neutrophils, which fight against pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Basophils are responsible for allergy symptoms. Eosinophils destroy parasitic organisms and can cause allergic reactions. Lymphocytes identify foreign materials and produce antibodies that target them. Monocytes provide immunoliogical defenses against infectious organisms.
Platelets become activated and sticky when a blood vessel is damaged. This causes them to clump together and form clots to stop bleeding.
I have to go take a test now, but if anyone's interested, I can scan those pages and copy them.

Most annoying and irritating comments by JWs
by whathehadas insince i'm still suffering in this crackerjacks organization, these are some of statements that just drive me nuts.
1. in service: "we are not here to convert you" funny how jws have the true religion but resort to deception and outright lies in order to get people to listen
2. to other jws: "we won't have to deal with this in the new system" 7 billion evil doers dead and gone, no longer create problems for us

This, from a sister who had never held a full time job, "But you don't know how bad the world is out there!" Yeah, hey lady, I work 40+ hours a week in a factory. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Do you have GOSSIPERS and those with STRONG PERSONALITIES that "control" the congregation?
by BonaFide ini bet a lot of others have, and its strange how so many are powerless to do anything.. one sister i know was married to another jw.
he was unfaithful, she was crushed, he wasn't disfellowshipped, she forgave him, he was cruel, finally she committed adultery to get out of it.
they divorced.

Hell yeah, that describes the local congregation where I'm at. I remember one Thursday meeting where the worst offender in the hall got that talk part. My mom and i just looked at each other, "She's giving this part, counseling others not to gossip?!" Oh, and a friend of mine was telling me about how when her daughter was 10 and went out in service with a regular pioneer and the gossip family, she came home and never wanted to go out in service again because of all the slamming of people in the congregation.

Straight from the C.O.
by swa inhello all, i have been lurking, looking, reading, and digesting for around 2 years and it seems the time is right to post.
i recently had one of those moments at the kindom hall where i found myself looking around thinking "am i the only one who gets it, why doesn't anyone else have this puzzled look on their face?".
said during is second talk to the congregation "all of our food, our magazines, and all our wonderful books, and videos come from/through these 9 men".

I suspect they are paving the way for (1) 144,000 is a symbolic number, and (2) "faithful and discreet slave" = Governing Body
I never understood how they came up with 144,000 being a literal number. The very beginning of Rev. says that it was presented to John in signs and symbols. Oh, but 144,000, that's a real number. Yeah, whatever.

Actually, according to wedding etiquette, the future bride writes the wedding invites and gets a list of people from the groom's side. It's very much possible that your s-i-l wrote that list with only your wife's name on there. So, the couple to be might not be responsible for snubbing you. I remember when I wrote them out for my husband's side, I just wrote what was listed and didn't bother questioning the names.
