  i have just gotten out and am free at last!

  my brother did so a few years ago and has been such an amazing help to me these last few weeks.

  i was raised a jw, disfellowshipped when i was 17, married a non believer and then dragged back in by my family.

  where can i find solid evidence of the UN connection?

  i want to be able to use this unknown fact about the wtbs with jw's of my aquintence, but they are going to want to see somthing to back that up before they belive it.

  can anyone help please?.

  "I think that the letter from the wt was posted on here and they admitted to being a NGO with the UN, but it was only for the "library card." if you find this, then show the rules for being a NGO, support the UN teaching, 2 signatures required, ect. Hope it works for you, good luck. "

  bit like the malawi 'library card' that the brothers werent allowed to have by the GB????!!!!

  i never been the most outspoken person, more often than not i have been timid and shy.

  i have always felt uncomfortable when in large settings of people, especially large congregation gatherings and conventions.

  i hate to sit on the pew.

  i prefer to sit on the regular kingdom hall seat.

  do you think it might be a good subtle reason for some people to convert their religion to jw?

  pews anyday! heres the local church i attend:

  

  as the parish encompases 4 older parishes each week is in a diferent one on a 4 week cycle,the history in these English chrches is incredable one being built in the 14th centuary.

  the services ar good the sermons short and informative and funny at times. tea and coffie at the back afterwards ooh yes and biscuits!

  did any other english jw's struggle at school with their spellings?

  reading american english all the time in the mags and stuff realy got me spelling the american way and so my schooling suffered,sometimes whole words didnt exist in the queens english!.

  i guess you american xjw's wont quite understand!lol.

  i'm not that good at quoting the bible.

  i see no value in learning verses by heart, sorry.

  however, i just learned that in the new world translation (the organization's bible), john 10:30, jesus is said to say "i and the father are one".
