  i just watched it on dvd, and holy cow, i can see so many similarities to the watch tower!

  i don't want to give anythng away for those who would like to see it, but i really wish the way it ended was a possibility in watch tower world..

  I have been watchng the TV show Outlander which is set in 18th century Scotland and filmed in Scotland. I had no idea it was so beautiful. It seems to clean and untouched from polution.

  My Dad and his family all are from Scotland but not the Highlands so not sure if places near Elgin is as beautiful? It is on my Bucket list to visit Scotland the land of my ancestors. My Grandparents and their brothers and sisters and children all emigrated to British Columbia in the 1920's

  What is a car breakers yard? Is it a place to dump old unused cars where they sell them for parts and then wreck them.

  It looks like its going to be a mini town when its finished with all thise buildings. They are not hurting for money thats for sure. Makes me sick.

  I live about 5 hours drive from Ottawa, so close to home. It makes me so sad and scared to see terrorism come to Canada. To kill such a beaurtiful young man is senseless but it is a wake up call. Canada has to stand on guard now.

  A few days before this another Islam radical ran over 2 Canadian soldiers south of Montreal. One of them died and the shooter was killed by police. Both of these shooters were known by CSIS and they were trying to do a intervention with the one that was in Quebec. They revoked both of these shooters Passports and knew about them being converted to jhadists. Apparently they know of about 50 or more of guys like this in Canada right now and they ae trying to monitor their activities. Obviously they aren't watching them close enough.

  My question is why can't they go and detain the rest of the known jhadists now that there has been 2 attacks?

  I don't really understand politics that much. I am curious as to why Outlaw and Tailsin think Harper is such a bad Prime Minister. I don't know all the background on things here. You are welcome to PM me about it if you like.

  i have just finished reading one of the most powerful, thought-provoking books i have ever read.. if somebody really wanted to know the reality of life inside the watchtower they must talk to a rational ex-jw.

  only people like us can see through the offical statememets and stereotypes and understand the thinking, pressures, hopes and fears of life in the cult.. ayaan hirsi ali shares her personal experience of growing up in a muslim community.

  ayaan was born in somalia with it's culture of clan loyalty and honour.

  I read this book in July of this year, I was blown away by it.

  Did it ever give me insight into the world of growing up in extremist Islam. I learned about Somalia and how they live and think. She is an amazing woman and someone who used critical thinking and acted on it. I have watched videos of a lot of debates she has been involved in. She is well spoken and informed. I am going to read it again soon.

  I finally got a chance to watch it. Great show and so glad it portrayed how the Jehovah's Witness religion and elders had a part in this tragedy. If they had supported Kim she would still be alive. Kim went to the elders twice but they choose to believe her abusive sociopath husband rather than her. The only criticism I have for the show is that they did not portray the Elders right in that they didn't speak JW speak. End of Days and Rapture are not the way JW's speak.

  Its so sad too how Jim was shunned at his own children's funeral. No compassion at all. Also how as usual the funeral and talk makes light of them being murdered and just says that people should be happy as they will surely be resurrected.
