For some reason my post was blank from yesterday.
I posted it from my ipad, so probably thats why
I did not ever meet Eric or know him other than from reading his countless posts here but I feel so sad for him and his family. I will be one of the ones that will light a candle and reflect on him at Noon EST on Friday.
When a celebrity dies like Elvis, JFK, John Lennon or Michael Jackson the world mourns them and they never met them. They know them from seeing them in the media, videos etc. The same goes with Eric, he was a big presence here and so we all felt we knew him.

Thank you this is so good to hear. I didn't know him in person but I know him from this forum and followed his posts and outpouring of his life after learning that the truth was not the truth.
I felt for him and feel so sad that this wonderful man's life was taken away from us far too soon. He deserves a memorial and his loved ones need it to help them get through this tragic loss.My sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

Thank you Barbara and I will PVR it but not sure how to record it for the Internet?
I saw that 2003 W5 show. I was shocked to find it on a video tape that my uber JW Mother recorded. When she died I found the tape, I wonder why she recorded it and what she thought. She defended the WT no matter what. -

Yes, I would do that for him. I would lime to light a candle for him and give him a minute of silence. It would be great to do it at the same time as everyone else.
He deserves to be remembered with respect from caring people.

YES absolutely YES but I had no choice as I was 4 years old when my parents decided to let it take over our lives. It changed the course of our lives and mine especially.

I am shocked and insulted for Eric about that cold, loveless, uncaring Obit. But then thats the JW way even if you are in good standing. The funerals are awful and no one seems to show any feeling. The JW religion has made robots out of their members and I feel sorry for them too that they have no feelings.
