Huge development concerning Watchtower.org and "apostate" comments.

wouldn't you love to comment on the watchtower.org site so that other visitors can see what you think about their doctrinal flip flops, false prophecies and dangerous medical practices?.

it's no surprise that watchtower.org doesn't allow comments.

they know that "apostates" would point out the embarrassing details about their religion and history.

The WTS and Frequent Liar Points

i have read on here of the frequent flyer points racked up by bethelites etc on wts business and it made me think of this.. .

frequent liar points.

the wts has told so many lies to its members, the public and the media that if there were points accumulated for frequent lies then surely they would have a huge tally of them.. .

i have been to both, bethel (all 3 complexes: brooklyn, walkill, paterson plus the jersey city stanley theater) as a teenager, and to tour the lds (mormon) complex in salt lake city as an adult.

i did bethel as a "witness" child, and slc as a totally non-jw adult.

the lds complex seemed more open to the public, inviting and comfortable.

Kelle Jarka Murder trial

for those interested the trial of the jw who is accused of murdering his wife in murrieta, ca started on wed. i'm not sure how to post the story but if you google him name it should come up.

i feel so bad for the family of the victim just reading the testimony in the newspaper from her mother had me in tears.

i couldn't imagine walking in and seeing my daughter on the floor in a pool of blood...it breaks my heart..

there is no truth...i know that.

to please my mum while she's alive and wife i go to meetings and the 3 day convention coming up.

i would rather go to the dentist.

If I encounter a JW from the past, I fake a smile and pleasant conversation. That's as far as I'll go. (It's scary how the JW lingo comes back to mind so easily when confronted with a member)

so we are watchin new christine and there are several child birth scenes of agony......and i tell my wife to be glad she never had to go through that.....she agrees............and i say..."why the hey did god have to make that so awfully painful?".............

she says "he did not".......i. i say "oh ya he did.".....

she says "not originally"...... i say "and then he did!".........

so i just went to the store, and got a few items.

salmon steak, artichokes, potatoes, grapes, peaches, and goat cheese.

the lady behind me (who was on one of those hoverounds) asked me what the little package was, i told her goat cheese.

My mom, sis and I all battled BC. Having a sense of humor helps during recovery.

Clever ploy to get sisters to monitor husband's internet use in today's WT

in today's study watchtower there was, yet again, more demonization of the internet.

although the paragraph purported to be about guarding against pornography, it struck me that they are attempting to kill two birds with one stone here, without mentioning one of the birds by name.

My parents used to drop by my place unannounced w/ a bro or sis from the congregation for an "encouragement visit". I took a life drawing class (nude models), and soon found a good excuse to buy pornographic books for homework assignments. I had no shame leaving these books out and opened. The encouragement visits promptly stopped.
