  you know how when people come out of being a jw they say things like- but the bible is a good book- its just the religion that is bad.

  or when describing muslim extremists commit some atrocity, people say- the religion is bad- but the koran is a good book.

  or when you observe orthodox jews abusing members of their family- it is said- its the religion that is confining and doent allow leaders to be held accoutable- but the torah is a good book.. i think we have it backwards!!

  are there any dedicated assistors to teenage jws that are trying or wanting to leave?.

  any councelors/ professionals that are easy to find?.

  i know that it might seem an odd place to start but so many service here in aus seem to be fragmented that the only connection will be through the medical industry, cults/mental health go hand in hand

  try first your family doctor they will be able to put you onto councelors/professionals who will most likely be able to help you, esp if mental health is involved

  i see a few want to believe in the watchtower's view of bible prophecy, scriptural understandings and the view that the "anointed remnant" dispense the "spiritual food at the proper time".. how would you refute those views?.

  i know i would have never, ever been interested if someone would have come to my door as a jw.

  i guess i really don't feel like i've ever had a real spiritual side to me.

  the 'truth' would have never interested me, nor would i have ever accepted a bible study with anyone who came looking for a sheeple.

  court hearing results for december 6, 2011:.

  steven unthank is still the acting prosecutor (and that's why he could not comment on the case on the"dialogue" program), and all 5 cases are still before the courts.

  the crown informed the court that the office of public prosecutions are "acting as a facilitator at the moment"; and that the police investigation is "quite well progressed"; and that the police are awaiting response from the department of justice.. .

  Outright Misrepresentations of Quotes and Citations in Watchtower Literature

  the research of doug mason, annomaly, and others have been eye opening in regards to the society's recent articles on 607 bc.

  what i find most disturbing is the misrepresentations of scholars, who are quoted in such a way to say one thing, when they meant something completely different.

  it is one thing to teach a doctrine, and quite another to play fast and loose with the truth.
