The best way to help any JW out is to remain active

attacking from the outside will always prove to be unproductive.

it is more effective to remain inside the domain while raising people's consciousness and letting them see all the flaws behind the farce.

i have tried it and i have gotten 47 people out in 6 months, while i am still seen as a publisher in good standing.. .

so i've been studying with jws since april 2011.

1 year later i decide to become an unbaptized publisher and take steps toward dedicating myself to jehovah.

i'm a single working mother of 2 with what i will call a very "colored" past.

Hi & welcome to the forum, glad that you found us.

I probably can't add any more to what's already been said, but those elders actually unknownly did you a favor, they gave you time to think about the situation, with this time research, research, research as much as you can on the jws both now & their history, using their own liturature and outside sources.

i've been browsing and reading threads here for a while.

i am never a jw, i am in a relationship with an inactive one, who in fact is in the middle (not knowing what to believe anymore).

i have read some of the threads here about stories of those who have experience with jws and mostly ended up hurt but there also some who made it.. and some of the threads/info/works that you all have done here are really great!.
