Capital punishment, are you in favour of it ?
by smiddy ini certainly am , providing their are strong arguments that the perpretrator of the crime is guilty beyond any reasonable doubt of the crime he/she is charged with .. i am not religous ,however i do agree with a life for a life principle ,especially if it involves multiple victims.
somebody killing x amount of people, proven of course , have no right to live.
of course with murders of one victim their can be many scenarios which the courts of law can adjudicate for whatever an outcome.

Clean phone screen
by Jaime l de Aragon inhave the phone screen dull, dirty, worn with scratches?
no problem, use some toothpaste and rub with a cloth and let her new.

How often did you entertain the "Traveling Overseers", and did you regret it afterwards?
by ÁrbolesdeArabia ini found taking the traveling overseers out for a meal, to be a waste of time.
our literature regulary spoke of the upbuilding talk the local congregations received by entertaining our brothers.
now some of the modern cos look at their telecommunication devices, talk of things not related to our ministry or phone it in.

My family did once, The CO was an East German bro and had some realy interesting stories to tell about life in EG, from what I remember Guntha was a great guy, seemed to have a great way with the young ones.
Later on during the 80s I was living with an Aunt & Uncle (elder) in Auckland, and once they had a CO for lunch after the sunday meeting, the CO was a maori, I had never realised before how racist my family was, my family normally got on with most plp (I thought) now I saw how uncomfortable they were having a maori in their house, the CO tried really hard to befriend them, shit it was embarrassing.

I don't ever recall having seen or heard any apostates protesting or the literature at a DC or CA, mind you I didn;t go to any all since the very early 90s & that was in New Zealand & I don't think apostates were organised back then. I do remember see pics in Time Mag portraying the protests in NY, I thought it very odd, but was curious.

Did you ever shun people when you were a dub? How did it feel?
by oldlightnewshite inokay, i don't know lots of people that were df'd, but of all the times i've encountered df people when i was a dub, they actually blanked me!
it was always something that i had fixed in my mind that the jws had dead wrong, even when i was an uber dub.
i remember several times when i used to arrive late at meetings, and i'd make a point of getting eye contact with the poor dub at the back sitting on the naughty step.

No I never shunned anyone who was disfellowshipped, I did experience them "blanking me" & once I went up to one of them & said it's ok to talk to me, their reply was "no it's not" & ran out of the shop
I once worked with a disfellowshipped sister & we had many long conversations about jw stuff, sadly she still believed, but never returned.

THE GOOD NEWS WILL BE POSTED LATER TODAY!!!!!
by EndofMysteries ina video will be posted later today where all the mysteries of god, the disgusting thing causing desolation, all the contradictions in the bible, why god in the old testament seemed so cruel, why was satan created if god is good, how is god love?
all of the prophecies jesus had foretold which were hidden and lost yet being fullfilled the entire time.
this is the good news that will then spread worldwide, and then the end will come.
