What is up with the influx of electronic readers at the Kingdom Hall

crazy!.

the local publishers seem to be jumping on the e-reader bandwagon.. sisters even in their 70's are showing up at the hall with ipads loaded with publications for the meetings for crying out loud!.

a couple of these elderly sisters are having me get theirs ready ... should i add coc and captives of a concept ... perhaps studies vol vii ... to the library for them.

if u don't mind saying if u r kiwi or aussie, and basic info like m/f, how long in, how long out, or if fading like me.. im female i live in aussie but born in nz fading the last few months.

know it ain't the truth, but am married with little kids and closest family and friends all in.

trying the slow fade and hoping my husband will do the same... being very gentle with him... .

I Got a Call from "Microsoft" This Morning....

and it was a scam.

just a heads up to you all.

i hung up on the guy and googled "microsoft called me at home" to find that this has been going on in the uk and australia for years.

and then told them to fuck off...................................they hung up

alot of members don't have a flag or country name beside their user name, and well frequently one doesn't know where that particular person is from, tell us your country, state, county or what ever you feel like giving out.

if you are going to post please at least devulge your country.. me, i'm originally from taranaki, new zealand via auckland.

for the most of this decade i have been living & working in brisbane, queensland, australia.. .

(question..why the big to do between terms- convention and assembly .

I can't remember much from these conventions, I have put so much out of my mind, but I do remember the storms that hit regurlary at convention times

In Auckland NZ Eden Park, Ellerslie Park & Alexandra Park I remember coming away totally wet through or half blown away.

actually thinking about, I remember in the late 60s or early 70s being at Alexandra Park (Race Track) and at the same time jockeys being out on the track with horses training, most plp were watching the horses LOL
