  an attractive 40 something year old has been alone and dfd for 8 years, on the telly, channel 4 on a televised date.

  Jehovah's Witness dreams

  i'm pretty certain i'm not the only one here who experiences this.. i occasionally have jw dreams.

  the most recent one was me giving a talk in my home congregation.

  all i had on was my trousers (pants), socks and shoes.

  no dreams for many years, can't even remember what they were about.

  but I do day dream about jws knocking on my door & me asking them about the ARC, I have not had any at my door for at least 3 years & I'm home most mornings

  Did your children help you wake up?

  what help me wake up, (still pimo) in addition to lingering doubts throughout most of my life, and i'm in my late 50s, was the questioning from my children when they became teenagers.

  i could not honestly defend the origins of the jws, prohibition of birthdays and other celebrations; especially when you realise that the whole belief system is/was based on crazy teachings of a businessman.. the real kicker is when you have a religion that has to produce its own bible to support its beliefs, that's when i knew the whole religion is an expensive and cleverly marketed belief system.

  like most religions.. glad to say none of my children want anything to do with jws and two of them don't believe in god.

  Thanks for the info.

  Looks like my bros & sisters are doing a very poor job, must have to many distractions, like living a life.

  I have relatives in Auckland, they love the 'Cart Witnessing' bcoz they don't have to do a damn thing, turn up & play with their mobiles.

  It's only going to get worse, they lost their beloved branch office they loved so dearly, now they are dictated to by a bunch of lacklustre/arshole Australians, oh boy don't Kiwi's love to hate Aussies.

  Would You Go To A Memorial Service For A JW )if you were no longer attending the KH)?

  some of my old jw friends are sickly and getting on in age.

  so far, i’ve only gone to my mother’s memorial and have avoided the kingdom hall altogether.... your thoughts please?.

  Yes I would, although it would be difficult, for me respect is more important than the difficulty I have in entering a KH.

  I have not been in a KH for over 16 years.

  In the last few years I have lost my Father, Mother & sister inlaw, luckily for me none of their services have been in a KH.

  and yes the services were a crass advertisement for the borg in varying degrees , this would have happened in KH or at other venues
