  My ex husband makes me feel bad:(

  for leaving him (1.5 y ago) and for being a person he doesn't recognize anymore for leaving the org.. he still has feelings for me and still grieves every day that we're not together...i know it shouldn't get to me but it does...i had no choice but to leave him...i was so miserable for so many reasons but when i hear how sad he is it makes me sad.

  (we have to have some contact coz of the apartment we lived in, unfortunately).

  i just wish he could move on but he says he can't even look at another woman.. also, of course, he had to say that jehovah still loves me and that the end is sooooooooo near, just look at haiti!.

  i just found out the sicko that molested my friend, his daughters, grand-daughter, and others just got reinstated.

  he's been disfellowshipped for awhile now.

  How sad and I'm sorry for this poor thing. No one should go through this. Thank God for Bill Bowen and Barbara Anderson, so that it gets out into the open and hopefully heal some of the victims. I feel so sad.

  what is up with current jws?

  do i suddenly have a leprosy that i didn't catch in the mirror this morning?.

  my mom had surgery recently and once again all care taking duties have fallen into my lap.

  Mill Hill Disfellowshippings

  a few months ago there was a thread about a couple of elders at the mill hill bethel being disfellowshipped because they disagreed with some wt doctrine (i can't recall exactly what it was) and that several other betheliteswere under 'investigation'.

  i haven't heard anything since, does anyone know anything more about this?.

  It makes me so happy that you and the 3 others have decided to be truthful, Paulapollos. I haven't been able to go since I've learnt the truth about so many things that go againgst the bible. I would never had read "Crisis of the Conscience", but I have now and I'm shocked and I have decided never to be a hypocrite again. I would love to hear more of your story. I was born into the org and am now 50years old with alot of family in still that won't talk, but as you I only want to be truthful about everything. Hope everything is well with you.

  My hypocrite JW family

  recently my mum told her jw family that she was da'ing herself and why.

  as you can imagine, they were not happy and the shunning has begun (not to mention one of her sisters sending her a horrible letter and the other sister spitting vitriol and hatred down the phone at her - very christian).. now, if my mum's family were totally upright, loyal and zealous witnesses the shunning would still be horrible but somehow easier to bear - at least you could respect their consistency.

  but the fact is, one of her sisters has covered up and made excuses for years for the immoral and wayward behavoiur of her own children, proudly declaring 'no one (meaning the gb) tells me what to do'.

  They are such hypocrites. One elder ,who is so high and mighty, his son was caught going to brothels and only spoke to the elders when someone told on him. He got privately approved (he was sorry), and his father step down as an elder, for only 6 MONTHS. Another elder, his 18 year old daughter was caught drink driving, but no-one found out so nothing happened to that family. My daughter told the elders (before coming to me, I would've told her to not say anything), that she and her fiance slept together and she felt bad as he was going to get baptised and they ended up disfellowshiping her. Very loving and christian. I'm getting angry now thinking about it!!!!!!!!!!!! That was nearly 5 years ago. I haven't been back after I had plenty to say!!! My daughter got married (too soon) and is now re-instated. I feel so sorry for her.

  so i went though the whole 'generation' issue with my husband and i got him to admit that the "new light" does not make since.

  but he just shrugged it off and said that the society has been wrong about other things so it's no a big deal.

  the governing body are imperfect.

  Doublelife the jws play their cards right, they admit they are imperfect but in the same breath say that they have the sayings of truth and even though it might not be right at the present time (the light gets brighter), "where else shall we go".

  Please help? My sis has been summoned to a JC without a prior meeting.

  they have caught up with my sis, they want her to come to a meeting on monday.

  she says she is going to just go and blag.

  - even attend a few meetings if necessary.

  I like cattails idea, but your sis can just say that she believes the bible and is not sure of a few things and needs help to understand them. That is if she wants not to get df. I can't stand how we are suck into THEIR MEETING WITH THEM. They are not the almighty, but you can play their game and not get df. Hope it goes well, keep us posted.
