I would think Lil' John would be more suited for this sort of thing. "YEAH! OKAY!"

Well, I go to bed listening to Kingdom Melodies these days, so...this was the only version that didn't violate Posting Guideline #3...

to god, by organization.
to our god's organization.
to our god's organization.
To the tune of 'To God We Are Dedicated', and a 1, and a 2, and a 3!
To God, by organization
We have been drawn
For its unity we do now long
It teaches us what's wrong
And how to remain strong
No sinners here belong
All other religions are false
To our God's organization
We now belong
We're the best thing since
The Mobile-Dawn
To our God's organization
We now belong
Its anointed men
Can ne'er be wrong
Millions living still alive
From 1925
Six thousand years went by
"This generation" will not die
It now overlaps with many
Who'll see the end
We'll loyally stay Jehovah's friends
How spirit-directed
Your organization is!
A safe place for us
To raise our kids
Abuse unverified
As the wicked call out lies
Brother, that infant there cries
Would you mind?
Escort them back outside!
To our God's organization
Goes all the praise
We'll serve faithful in it all our days!

http://www.metro.co.uk/news/883321-blood-free-kidney-transplant-carried-out-between-two-jehovah-s-witnesses.
firstly - haven't times changed - both sisters would likely have been dfd in times past... .
when men of science conclude that this normal process will no longer work and they suggest removing the organ and replacing it directly with an organ from another human, this is simply a shortcut.
Yeah, but in 1980 it was made clear that no judicial action would be taken against those who get an organ transplant. You apostates are just twisting the Society's words! ha ha ha ha ha ha! I just couldn't keep a straight face!

should christians drink water?.
how refreshing it can be to satisfy oneself with a cold beverage on a warm day!
many christians choose to do this after a long day of zealous kingdom preaching.
Nah, I was never on the Writing Committee. I never made it past 'Watchtower reader'.
I just...actually read the literature. A lot. I imagine the Writing Committee must have an awful lot of time on their hands, if articles are as easy to write as this one was...

the research of doug mason, annomaly, and others have been eye opening in regards to the society's recent articles on 607 bc.
what i find most disturbing is the misrepresentations of scholars, who are quoted in such a way to say one thing, when they meant something completely different.
it is one thing to teach a doctrine, and quite another to play fast and loose with the truth.
Wow! That last quote from Dawkins--ha ha! Talk about devious! Man! There's just no end to the treachery!

inspired by many on jwn board, my goal is to every sunday study the article and find the manipulative parts.
if you would like to join me that would be great!
we can then find them together and then find what the scriptures or insights truly means with research, our own understanding, or maybe how it should be interpreted to ones self.
Let's see if I've got the analogy right here.
Jehovah is to Moses as
____ is to us.
Uh, I'll guess...the Governing Body? Correct! Let us be humble before their direction as Moses was before Jehovah's!! 100 points!

i have a 10 year old.
been to the kh once, at about 3 years old, for a relative's funeral.
lately, my 10 year old and her bff are talking on the phone alot.
Interesting. You know, I think, maybe it didn't occur to me on any conscious level at that age, the age of 10, about making the world a better place and all. But certainly once I was in my teens, I started to think a lot more about our world and how we can fix it now. I think Jesus' example taught me that helping others in a practical way was important, too. So I still felt there was something I could do, even if I had no set plans for how to do it.

i happened to come across the word machiavellian.heard it plenty of times but never really knew what it meant.it's an adjective and sums up the jw leadership like no other word.it means as follows ; .
elaborately cunning ; scheming, unscrupulous, deceitful, shrewd, crafty, wily, foxy, tricky, perfidious, nefarious, treacherous, sneaky .. well i guess that just about covers it.unless anyone can come up with anymore.. .
Another thing: Machiavelli also wrote that if one takes action against an enemy, one must make sure that one eliminates all possibility of reprisal. Hence, DF'ing. Also fits.

blood watchtower's misrepresentative .
today i added a new article to my blog addressing remarks made by one of watchtowers misrepresentatives.
like so many others, he presents information that is at odds with verifiable data.
Well, the thing is, speaking as someone who let his Advance Medical Directive go for a couple of years or more without being updated, I didn't do it because I wanted to take blood, I just didn't think it mattered all that much if it was signed this year or 2 years ago, as long as it was in my wallet. Most people just aren't thinking about it, is more likely. I may be wrong, and given the high percentage in that WT letter/memo, maybe you're right, Marvin.
But if we assume a rate of 50% outdated Directives across the board, which may be reasonably accurate, yeah, Mr. Smalley is presenting only a theoretical, textbook situation rather than the actual reality.
