If the preaching work is so important now can we assume that each branch office will pay for the living costs for all pioneers,so that rather than working for satan they can be preaching even more hours a week (dont hold your breath )

CO just confirmed worldwide construction halt and possible JW.ORG news of it
by LevelThePlayingField injust had the co visit tonight.
i asked him if he had heard about the worldwide halt of construction besides warwick and to my surprise he said he heard the same thing.
then he went on and add that also some branches are closing and some bethelites going into pioneering but, "all because of the preaching work now.

A call from family - Armageddon this month!
by kaik ini very seldom receive a call from my jw siblings, i mean seldom.
i can count them on my hand in past 10 years.
while we talk about mom a lot and i am in touch with her, i was very surprised when i received this call.

If any of your jw family have a paid job ask your branch office if they can pay their wages for the week so that they can go on the door to door for 60 hours a week telling people,What use will money be to the branch office in a few weeks :-) -

no its not the end because they have just told lots of special pioneers that they cant spend as many hours telling people about jesus because they will have to go to work.If i was one of the GB and i thought it was the end time i would tell ALL jws not to go into to work and start telling people about the JW and the GB WOULD PAY THEIR WAGES -

by Sabin inyesterday i read something that hurt my heart.
at a talk given by a brother lyman swingle ( i apologize if i am stepping out of line by using this) he said "that if you leave the jw ( i find it difficult to refer to it as the truth now days) you may as well go jump off a bridge".
this i think is disgraceful talk to say to any body let alone an audience in which children are present.

It is nice to talk and chat about things but we will all know in about 14 weeks or so.They have really shot themselves in the foot about shunning and not just leting people leave the borg because all the things that have come out of bethel these past years,im not sure that i would want to risk losing my wife children etc.Also out in normal land if lots of jws stop being jws they have got lots of kingdom hall that they can sell off. -

Assembly next weekend
by Deltawave inso we have another assembly upon us next week and everyone is excited because.... it means no thursday meeting and no sunday meeting either.
i have to say it intrigues me how happy very dedicated witness's are about the week of freedom.
i jokingly said.... shouldn't we all be sad their is no meeting.. and the reply was "we should be but it's great isn't it!

How many JWs would stil be around if there was no shunning.Its ok saying oh look at us we can fill huge halls around the world but if the people are only there because of the fear of shunning then they wont be puting money inthe box and no money in the box =cash flow crisis -

How the college educated/employed "weak" JW's will soon be "used"
by ToesUp inonce these laid off bethelites are released from their duties, where will they go?.
how many will turn to their "spiritually weak" families for a place to live, a meal or financial aid?
the ones who have been criticized over the years for attending college and getting a good job may soon become an asset to the ones who have been relieved of their duties .
