i think they are rich in property but not much else with them stopping 12 issues of the magazines next year and it does cost lots of money to feed 1000s of people around the world so they have trimmed back in both directions and also with the watchtower and awake being undated it means they can still be giving them out in nine years time like loads of teaching books that i have disposed off these past weeks

Where has all the money gone?
by gingerbread ina number of years ago when i was still active, our service group was having a coffee break with the visiting circuit overseer.
during the conversation he mentioned that the "society" was now being run like a business.
being raised in the "truth" i thought that rather odd (and my eyes began to be opened!

Paranoia after today's Watchtower

not only are we to watch our associations outside of the congregation, but also watch our associations 'within' the congregation.
this was emphasised by the wt study conductor.

2016 Calendar: Give us more money!
by wifibandit injust got a peak at the 2016 calendar and i cannot tell you how much it bothered me.
it's all about constructing new kh and assembly halls, which is completely ironic given that the construction stopped almost worldwide.obviously this is proof that the borg is shifting from a magazine publisher to a real estate conglomerate, no wonder they're getting rid of 12 issues of magazines all together.. now, while the pdf of this is not up on the site yet, i will post confirmation as soon as it becomes available.

WT is shorting literature orders by congregation with a problem contributing enough for literature $3500 just for mags
by oppostate inat our meeting last night there was a talk about having run out of magazines for the last three months.
it's expected this will continue to happen.
the "branch" has not sent the requested number of magazines.

Has anyone noticed how in the October JW Broadcast, Losch encourages good works towards ALL people?
by Tenacious ini can't help but notice how this past year alone has seen the gb start to turn more towards the teachings of the christ instead of peddling their falsities.. study articles have talked in length about the fine works of christ.
assemblies have been dedicated to speaking about christ.
and this month's broadcast is about doing good to others copying the example christ left for us.. what's more shocking is that losch actually says kids should speak, share, and even give food and clothing to non-believers!!

by truthlover inhas anyone on the board been at the recent meeting where they are asking for more money to help out the co's, insurance and health and travel??
this is supposed to go into a general fund???
they can use it for anything they want..... oh, and also, if you can give more, it would help as many congregations may not be able to give - based on number of pubs in each cong.

And from nexy year they will be more than halving the number of mags that they print, i say more than halving because the watchtower and awake will be undated and will be able to be used for many many years on the trolleys you can still get books from the trolleys that were printed nine years ago -

Had a look on a pro jw website and they had 3 pictures of jw trolleys around the world and ALL 3 trolleys had old teaching books and magazines on.If there is a 1000 people on this website and they take 5 books a week that would be 5000 books a week gone forever.If you saw a bottle of poison on the kerbside would you leave it there or would you if it was possible try to dispose of it .On another thread a person has said that pioneers in brazil will no longer be able to say at bethel for a 3 day break but they can stay at a bethel hotel where they will have to pay,yet another cut back.What will it do for the borg funds if they have to start printing 1000s of extra books.Both in america and the uk they have sent letters telling the foot soldiers to be careful with the books and mags.Im never rude or inpolite when i take any of the books and like to have a little chat with the people and im still destroying the borg kingdom day by day -) -

No accommodation at Bethel in Brazil for Pioneers

If i lived in brazil i would start taking teaching books from the trolleys and puting them in the trash, if they are so short of money that they cant afford to let pioneers have a 3 day break then they must be short of money
