If growth means closing 15 branch heasdquaters around the world and kicking out 1000s of people who used to work at bethels around the world and not printing 50 million magazines a month worldwide then sounds a very strange growth to me.

JW TV - Britain Branch Report
by Listener inalthough it is titled as "britain branch report" it's not much of a report.
it only goes for just over 6 minutes and half of it is some 'wild talk' about romeo and juliette, i say wild talk because it has nothing to do with the british branch and if there was any point to it, it's lost on me.. anyway, about the only thing said that is of any importance was this (at the 2.20 mark) -.
"the governing body, very kindly, have given us permission to continue construction once we have reviewed the scope of the building so we hope to be underway very soon".

300 books and magazines placed outside The Shard
by pleaseresearch inhi all.. so i got a txt today from a very proud mum claiming that, the jw cart produced 300 book and magazine placements.
mostly from foreign speakers.. the shard is the tallest building in the uk.
this is where the cart was placed.. not a bad day they had really.

I think i shall have to visit the uk if this is true though i myself on 3 different times have got 14 or 15 teaching books at just one cart. -

Even if they are building some new kingdom halls now they are not printing 50 million magazines around the world they should be about $1 million dollars a month better off -

JW s can give it but not take it ive had some pretty nasty times around the carts with the pioneers so while it wont wake anybody up it will do them good to have it not all their own way -

Why is it ok for witnesses to go to Church backed hospitals?
by stuckinarut2 inif witnesses should "get out of babylon the great" then why is it ok to go into hospitals that have been set up, and have funding from churches?.
isnt that a little contradictory or hypocritical?.

congregations being dispanded and kingdom halls closing down and being sold off.... official announcements within the next month apparently .
does anyone else have anymore info?.

by jookbeard inreading a report of an elder in a friends cong has been hiding and spying on the pioneers who seem to have a practise of dumping the cart and finding a local coffee shop, i've noticed that they do this in my local high street as well but this week they seemed to be all huddled around the cart, they've clearly been warned, a vast percentage of the time i see they seem to be more interested in fiddling with their mobile phones and gossiping, is just seems these carts are a means for the pioneers to turn in "easy time" i wonder what sort of figures show how much literature is being taken by the public?
i bet its very minimal.
naturally the gb would say they are a phenomenal success , we clearly know they are not.

Yes jookbeard they sent a letter both in the uk and the us about using up all old magazines on the trolleys etc and now that they are all undated they can still be used in 3 months or 3 years time cutting down as much as possible on anything that costs them money ie people have been talking about them not printing any magazines in the uk anymore and doing it from germany.So in the uk and the whole world i bet they have tried to make JWs more careful in giving magazines away and who they give them out to on the carts.They dont mind the publishers standing out on the carts filling their time just so long as they dont cost headquaters money -

Ps i can see them being kicked out by the uk charity commision not only because of what they might find with regards to child abuse BUT also the fact that at the moment the jws have took their fight with the comission right up to onr of the top uk courts, now i always thought that a charity was meant to be open and accountable and if you cant be that to a uk government appointed body then you are not doing your self many favours.What other charity do people know in the uk, that will not cooperate with body in charge.i can see some new light coming and most of the uk bethel will either be moved to germany or kicked out -

on the carts today they were still giving out the december 2015 watchtower and awakes
