  Why are JDubs scared to death of apostate websites?

  when i was an elder back in the 1970's i loved to debate and challenge ministers, preachers, and holy rollers.

  now you can be a loyal jdub fully indoctrinated for 30 years but just take a peek at an apostate website and you are doomed.

  yes, satan now has you by the gonads and all of the years of being at the meetings, all of the family worship nights, all of the conventions, and all of the personal study just go up in a cloud of smoke.

  in 2 weeks we will be announcing major changes in northern ohio congregations and there is quite the buzz in the area about it.

  just talked to a jdub from the detroit area that just underwent similar changes, and they mentioned it has been "quite exciting" to get to meet new brothers and sisters.

  so besides the cash benefit of selling a couple kingdom halls in the process.

  I think its good that in selling off 3000 propertys they are making it even harder for new people to get to a kingdom hall

  seems like a lot.

  but how much is it in percentage of the buildings they own that are gonna be sold?.

  i think its great that the watchtower is making it even harder for new people to start going to kingdom halls but they cant have that much more now to cmake savings apart to sell kingdom halls off

  Out of town wharehouses are doing so much damage because

  they like to have robots rather than people if they do have people they treat them like crap

  and because they are out of town they dont pay the local councils as much money for rates

  and if everybody did that the local councils would not have as much money to pay for the local police ambulance and fire brigade

  videos from the summer jw conventions ("be courageous) show the "urgency" about the end racheted up several notches.

  paranoia rules supreme!.

  curiously, though, very few, if any, statements in the convention program about 1914 and the overlapping generations.

  Who helps the most - POMO or PIMO

  i was recentely talking to my girl who is also awaken about if there were any chance of the org to lose at least its power and authority since i believe to expect a destruction of the org is unreal i came to the conclusion that the best way to help jws is by means of the pimos.. if we take the own jw logic (the world is bad but we need to live among them in order to bring them to our side) i think that if a good part of the people who left when found ttatt stayed in they we could have much more awaken people today.

  when you are out it gets extremely hard to gain the trust of any jehovah's witness to begin with.

  every totalitarian government had to fight rebels among them.. im not being numb to the causes of anyone who decided to leave.

  some people think the watchtower is to big to fail.

  i dont because a lot of the branch offices around the world (about 70 i think) are in the third world they are not paying the full cost of running them and so the american branch is having to find the money,so if they got $1 billion dollars betwwen 70 branches that is only$ 25 million a year.per branch.if each branch has 500 people working there and they spend just $1 a day for food each person that works out at £35,000 just for the food alone .

  hi what will be the next thing that watchtower will cut,if you say the leaked video that fay put up the finance guy from the watchtower was saying that they had spent $26 million in about 6 months.

  so if they are getting through money that fast then they are going to have problems.

  My guess is that they will close more kingdom halls because they can sell off more kingdom halls with out geting lots of bad pr where as if they close more branch offices down vastly more people will know about .T hough in 2012 they did sell of 20 branch offices around the world

  JW Elder quits & sends 900 emails

  an elder in quebec, has just quit as a jw.

  he did so by emailing nearly a thousand jw’s with the explanation for why he and his family are quitting.. i have spoke to him quite a bit, interesting guy.

  he’s quite the loss to wt, he’s an elder with a serious career in chemistry, a professor no less.. catch his story here, apologies if this has already been posted;.

  I think that people would think he was a bad person anyway,just for leaving the watchtower.

  And im sure that it will have helped him to think he might have done a bit of damage
