I'm not so sure a bigger awakening is going to happen anymore
by bradford inwhen i left in march officially i started reading the forums here.
i had this excitement that more people would be leaving soon because of the crazy broadcasts, the crazy "new light" that the gb was dishing out, and more recently the australian royal commission lighting up geoffrey.
this past saturday i had an elder stop by to chat for the first time since i left.

On lots of trolleys in the big citys apart from the watchtower and the awake the only question is how old all the teaching books are two, five and nine years old, i would feel ashamed if i was doing 70 hours a month that they hadnt been passed out by now. -

The Org is terrified of apostates
by SecretSlaveClass ini knew apostasy was a serious concern for the org, but until i watched this video, i had no idea how afraid they actually were.
all this guy wants is to do is not turn in his fs hours and immediately they (elders) set about drilling him about who are what influenced his decision, as if he was incapable of making his own (which as the elders confirm, in the org is highly discouraged).
they are convinced he has been communicating with apostates or visiting apostate web sites.

Very few countries in the world have freedom so sadly this is all par for the course but the good thing is that a million pieces of jw stuff might be going in the trash -

News Which UK J.W.'s Won't Get in their Kigdom Ministry!
by The Searcher ina source tells me the following: .
for shropshire uk by the name of anthony manning has been removed and judicially reproved.
portishead congregation in north somerset is being merged or disbanded on sept 1st 2015 due to "aging elders, poor attendance, decrepit kingdom hall and landslip" - of course the suspicion is wt just wants to sell the hall off.

Canadian branch getting rid of their trucks and drivers
by wannaexit ina recent letter to the elders outlined the new arrangement for delivering literature to the congregations.
the canadian branch will be downsizing by eliminating drivers and trucks and utilizing commercial carriers to bring the boxes of monthly literature .
more outsourcing and more lay offs.. the funny thing about it is that they want to have the literature delivered to various private homes of the rank and file rather than have the literature delivered to the kingdom hall.

They are trying to get everybody to go the web for all the publications and where they have been keeping all these nine year old teaching books that they are putting on the trolleys i dread to think i have disposed of 100s myself, my hamster likes them. -

yes problemaddict thrift is good but the main reason why they are trying to cut back is the same reason that they got rid of district overseers some years back, shortage of money
