Pledge for Global Assistance Arrangement - $15 per publisher!
by nmthinker inlast night our congregation read a letter for the global assistance arrangement combined with the traveling overseer assistance arrangement.
the "recommended" amount was $15 per publisher, which was well over $1000 for our hall.. it seemed steep.
our congregation does not have this type of money.

Special Pioneer Sister-in-Law and Husband just got their letter.
by cappytan inwell, my sister-in-law and her husband, special pioneers for only a couple of years, just got their letter.. her comment was along the lines of, "they're having to do this because they forgave all those kingdom hall loans a few years ago and the brothers aren't donating anymore.".
when my wife told me, i laughed so hard i farted.

Sorry but i dont have much pity for them for most SPs if a close family member was DF they wouldnt talk to them for the rest of their lives, so its good that they know how concerned the GB are about them. -

Lets start a "Go Fund Me" for those special pioneers being kicked to the curb by the GB,.
by notjustyet inlots of great potential to help those sp that are being sent off without any financial help from the wtbts.
i think that it would be a great way to get some exposure on this topic and how the wtbts thats those that dedicated their lives to the wtbts only to be sent packing at a late age.
then someone can take the funds to one sp couple, possibly, and give it to them in honor of the apostates that know what is really happening.

no money from me i want them to get a job so they cant spend as much time doing the preaching work if we do meet any body who has been kicked out from bethel we can say in a tactful way that we dont think it was a very loving act by the borg but we need to be careful that we dont sheild them from the cold facts of live.Would they even talk to you if you were "df". -

Wow to have this all confirmed is really nice about the cuts and i think its both about short term cash flow and thinking about the future.Might the magazine cut back back fire on them,you only have to look in the mags to see they have a 50 million print run so when that kicks in they will be saving millions of $$$$ -

he wants to go to college.. normally, a mom would be proud to have a son like this.. nope, not a friggin jw mom.

What a load of tosh.For the past 4 years or so the world food programe have been feeding about 4 million refugees in camps around syria who have gone there because of the civil war that started in the arab spring when the tusnian dictator and egyptian dictator were kicked out by their own people and it got to syria and five years later we are here.Then last the world food programe who had been feeding millions of people in the camps ran out of money and had to cut back how much food and food vouchers they gave to people. So the people had the choice stay and have less then £1 a day to live on or move and some moved because they had no choice and because they were wanting a better life (the american dream) and because they had contact with people smugglers who have vast amounts of money sending people on boats etc some have managed to get to greece and then walk the 1000s of miles to eastern europe etc.Then they have been around loads of people from eastern europe that just want a better job etc and have been walking to germany etc -

The last days yes THE LAST DAYS OF THE BORG i got foutr teaching books from the trolley today all printed in 2006,I travel a lot for work and in 3 big citys all the trolleys had got old books on and from next year the magazines will be printed bimonthly.I went on a pro jw site a few days ago and every picture that had got a trolley in from all the world had got old teaching books.Steven lett might have been right when he said they had got more money going out than coming in.He might have ment fresh money coming in ie donations rather than just property.Once you start spending your savings you have to be really careful.Once you have sold a house and spent the money the money is gone forever and once the borg have sold the property and spent all that money then they are not rich any more and of course they have to think ahead for the next 10 or 20 years.If the GB thought it was the last days they wouldnt have sent people home from bethel to do a wordly job -

during the conversation he mentioned that the "society" was now being run like a business.
being raised in the "truth" i thought that rather odd (and my eyes began to be opened!

i think they are rich in property but not much else with them stopping 12 issues of the magazines next year and it does cost lots of money to feed 1000s of people around the world so they have trimmed back in both directions and also with the watchtower and awake being undated it means they can still be giving them out in nine years time like loads of teaching books that i have disposed off these past weeks -

not only are we to watch our associations outside of the congregation, but also watch our associations 'within' the congregation.
this was emphasised by the wt study conductor.

2016 Calendar: Give us more money!
by wifibandit injust got a peak at the 2016 calendar and i cannot tell you how much it bothered me.
it's all about constructing new kh and assembly halls, which is completely ironic given that the construction stopped almost worldwide.obviously this is proof that the borg is shifting from a magazine publisher to a real estate conglomerate, no wonder they're getting rid of 12 issues of magazines all together.. now, while the pdf of this is not up on the site yet, i will post confirmation as soon as it becomes available.
