Hidden Abuse Under Watchtower

the center for investigative journalism whose website is now called revealnews.org, has an entire section on stories being investigated by their staff and others on how the watchtower is handling child abuse cases.. please share you thoughts on this issue because i really would like to know when the governing body and their lawyers are going to properly address this issue because i can't worship in a place that allows dangerous men in, that's what they accused the catholic church of doing and now here it is that they are caught doing the same thing but have not expressed any concern for the victims.

Mica on another post on this site it will tell you that in the uk the watchtower have been fighting the uk charity commission in since since 2014 to stop the charity commission from have a deeper look at the watchtower records and the watchtower have these past few days taken it up to the uk supreme court to fight the charity commission from having a look at their records.Of course i know to the watchtower the charity commission is "satan" but it does seem that they have a lot to hide.and would explain why they have been making so many cuts these past years.I dont know how much you know so i will tell you.They have closed 16 branch offices around the world,they are moving out of new york and london bethels,they are kicking out 1000s of people who used to work at bethel.And they are not printing about 50 million magazines a month around the world.

oh well if its true then we might see the GB stop making so may cuts that they have made in the past and possibly start spending more money in new things in the meantime the trolley dolleys that i have contact with will carry on giving out 5 and 10 year old teaching books

The Modern Exodus: Perception or Reality?

i'm completely new at this however just in my joining this forum and of course interacting with others i can't help but notice what appears to be a significant exodus from the organization.. for those of you that have long been in this game have you seen this before?

i'm really curious and we should refrain from the sensational, but is what we're seeing different than in years past?.

it sure seems like so so many are waking and leaving.

Why should it have to take the closure or almost closure of either the german or uk branch to make any difference when since jan 2016 they have not been printing 50 million magazines a month saving themselves at least $1 million dollars a month that they could give to the uk or germany to help keep them going So its march 2016 the third month and that means that they SHOULD have $3 million in the bank BUT all they seem to do is have cut after cut after cut ?????

i came across this on wikipedia, it made me laugh at how random it was:.

in january 1981, ulvaeus married lena källersjö, and manager stig anderson celebrated his 50th birthday with a party.

for this occasion, abba recorded the track "hovas vittne" (a pun on the swedish name for jehovah's witness and anderson's birthplace, hova) as a tribute to him, and released it only on 200 red vinyl copies, to be distributed to the guests attending the party.

Also acording to what sam hurd of the gb said they have kicked out 1000's of people who used to work at bethel.

And since jan 2016 they have not been printing 50 million magazines a month worldwide (watchtower and awake) so if you say just 2 cents for each copy they are $1 million dollars better off,bear that in mind when you hear about convention and kingdom hass being sold off

Estimating future growth or decline of Watchtower

i have seen a few posts here, in various guises, in relation to whether watchtower is in decline.

plenty of people respond, but it is all fairly anecdotal, or "gut feel".

some of it has been wishful thinking.. as of late 2015, watchtower's numbers suggest it is still growing marginally, but there are various anecdotes on this site of publishers typically being older, and younger ones disappearing.

Since 2016 the watchtower have stopped printing about 50 million magazines a month and made them bimonthly ie watchtower and awake.if you say each copy costs just 2 cents that means the watchtower is saving $1million dollars a month and in another post i have just seen that they are closing the convention hall in sira lanka down and selling it off

sri lanka has only one convention hall which is situated at 44, agaraduguru mawatha,ekala,ja-ela wp.

this was built on some where around 1990's.

now the sri lanka branch committee has decided to sale the property.what is the reason behind this??????????????

i would say decline in both people AND money and now that they are having to sell the family silver off brooklyn and central london it will be very nice to see the borg slowly crumbling away

this is good news.

the wt have lost in their attempt to stop the uk charity commission's inquiry into their affairs.
