The watchtower does not have the resources
by pepperheart inif you have a look at the december broadcast on jw tv they tell you that they wont be showing you a normal format for december but the 143rd event of gilead because the watchtower does not have the resources other wise to translate it many different lanuages.. with all the cuts the watchtower have made and are going to make you would have thought that they would have lots of resources.

yes the tax exemption loss and the child abuse court fines are the only thing that help to make any sense of all the cuts these past years -

Hello from Scotland - it has been ages....
by The Scotsman inwell how the devil is everyone?
i have not been here for a long time........totally lost track of what is going on in jw land, apart from the little bits i hear from family members still in.
(they say everything is swell and that armageddon is just round the corner).... :).was hearing that anniesland congregation in glasgow has been (or is about to be) disbanded.

The watchtower is making cut backs in lots of different area
in 2012 they sold 20 branches around the world off
they have gone from 24 awakes and watchtowers per year down to 6
they have sold the bethel in new york off and moved out to the country
they are in the process of doing the same in london and moving to chelmsford
they have stopped printing in the uk totally and are depending on germay
the magazines are undated ie they just say issue one etc so they have a longer shelf life and the same magazine lasts for two months and they are making a big fuss about putting all the magazines and books in plastic bags so that even the magazines could last for years
They have started a monthly web broadcast but even with that they are starting to make cuts

Another question if they are selling the old bethl sites in central london to get money why are they bothering to get jws to be coming for most of next year when that will mean that they will not be able to sell many buildings because people will not be able to move to chelsford

Cong accounts analysis?
by Farmer Jim1 inanyone on here an ex accounts servant?
i’d be interested in a projection of what percentage of contributions come from elderly jw’s.
i.e, money that will be diminishing over next 5 or 10 years as these ones pass on.. i estimate that in one of my previous congs 50% of the contribution totals of approximately £400 each month were being made by the over 70’s demographic.. within the other 50% were pioneers and low paid workers who put in regular but small amounts.. i guess when the accountants ring the alarm bells you start cutting the biggest costs; full time servants, buildings, printed literature.

UK: Significant donations to World Wide Work 2015-2017
by truthseeker ini'm analyzing the 221 congregations in the uk that had additional account info.. correct me if i'm wrong, but was it 2015 when the letter was read out instructing congregations to donate excess funds to the world wide work?.
the amounts donated to the world wide work are significant.
i still have much work to do.. truthseeker.
