  Adding insult to injury when the WT kicks out a congregation from their hall

  not only does the organization confiscate the hall the congregation owns.

  but then the former congregants are told to continue to pay for utilities and they are still responsible for upkeep and maintenance.

  so they still have to cut the grass etc.

  ever since i became an exjw activist... i have wondered, how many people can i hope to reach?.

  what are the odds that my parents and loved ones will live out the remainder of their lives as jehovah´s witnesses?.

  is there a way to calculate the odds that any jw will remain a jw for the rest of their lives?.

  But if the watchtower carrys on being so short of money they will do what ever they need to keep warwick going even if that means selling off lots of kingdom halls around the world.and people could have no choice to stop going to a kingdom hall apart from travelling many miles.But the watchtower will become a mostly online cult for 90% of the world

  Bumped Into One Of My Best Friends On The Carts This Morning

  so this morning i'm walking to my office and there's the jws on their carts outside as usual.

  and old sister, a brother in his 20s and an elder i instantly recognized from my jw days.

  one of my best friends of about 20 years.. i genuinely just wanted to say hi as i havent seen him in 3 years.

  Itook five of those magazines today from a cart and trashed them,if i can save just one person going through what you and others like you have gone through it will be worth it

  i have just heard that the local needs item next week in the uk is to be about a new arrangement for donating online.

  details will be in the september announcements letter due out on sept 3rd.

  KH Hall doors to remain locked during meetings?

  my mother in law told us this morning that they read a letter in her cong last night.

  from now on kh doors will be locked after 15 min of meeting start.

  only the fire exit (one way door) will remain unlocked.

  the thing that finally convinced me that the watchtower is crumbling is the fact that they are selling off 3,000 propertys off around the world.why should they do that,dont they want people to go to a kingdom hall?

  my father would have started college 49 years ago this week.

  about three months earlier, the week he graduated high school, the awake!

  magazine came out with some very clear direction to teenagers.

  the watchtower is so short of money because they have to pay for all the upkeep of so many branch offices around the world.because so many of the branch offices are in very poor countries and they are not balancing the budgets.

  Its not just printing they are cutting down on though.Every two months they used to have four magazines in print and online but now they have only one magazine in print AND online also.A multnational group cant afford just to put 3 magazines on line,
