is there any provision for service overseers/territory servants to keep the territories updated with registered sex offenders?
i'm not talking about jws that are registered and attending - i'm referring to all the sex offenders registered in the congregation territory.

Ignorance and Stupidity

Stupidity is cured at the moment of death. Like most anything, I believe stupidity can be fixed, but it would require someone first coming to realize that they ARE IN FACT STUPID and then determining to no longer BE stupid. Like any other way of life, such as alcoholism or drugs addiction, it would require effort and strong determination to overturn. Because most people, for one reason or another, are not willing to exert the effort and invest the time, stupidity more often than not goes unchecked and progresses.

perhaps he ignored previous counsel several times concerning steps leading to the same wrongdoing.
for example, in a case involving wrongdoing that could be viewed as child sexual abuse, announcing the reproof of a repentant wrongdoer will serve as a protection for the congregation.".

No. When reproof is given there may be a talk given at some later time as to the sin involved without actually naming the individuals involved.

As a JW, what did you do on Christmas Day?

it was fun to get together with my other jw cousins over christmas.
(however, it was hell going back to school in january as the only girl without a new sweater).. as a married jw though it was a different story.

i included that in my purchase and will do away with it this evening.
it's my way of helping keep utter nonsense out of the hands of the gullible and vulnerable.

I was in the sale room of the Tawas City Library, saw a New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (the Bible used and abused by the Jehovah's Witnesses). I included that in my purchase and will do away with it this evening. It's my way of helping keep utter nonsense out of the hands of the gullible and vulnerable.
