I congratulate you too! Because seriously that is what I'm considering! I have done all the research in the world and maybe with the fact that I only have one elder that is considered my elder from the beganing of my DFment and also I'm no longer living where I was... I'm also getting married... It just seem the best way for me.

I will get reinstated and fade... It will be the right reasons in JW eyes. But to each is own when reality hits.

willyloman... your statement has truth behind it. For example my sister had close relationships with her worldly bfs and then when she was involved with a witness guy (same time all my crap was happening I got df) my sister didn't she got married asap to the witness guy. She never was shunned never was held acountable... nothing. I felt kinda hurt by this because she felt righteous enough to shun me but yet she herself did the same thing except she was not baptised. It's part of the nonbaptised JW, game... smart but still not quite right.

I guess the real question I'm looking for is... with this foundation... I wonder if the whole roll of "true religion"... does history or past matter?? and how do they know they won't change what they believe now, in the future? Is it worth to die over if it will change later on?

That is why I feel happier out of the religion... If I can live with more pride in self control and doing it God's way out here, I think I'd choose that.

The sad part for most Disfellowshipped or Ones leaving, where do we divide right from wrong, from one sin to another sin, it was so pushed from Black and White to a little justification over the years, to now what will God truly except? We were blinded, we were ignorant, we were sinners...

I got the Bible and I guess I'm ok with that as a guide. I guess nows a good time to safely say I should reread the whole Bible. (new project... more reading [sigh]) ;)

A disfellowshipped person shunned me!

just curious of anyone else's experience with this watchtower behavoir.. i ran into a df person 2 weeks ago and she tried hiding from me, my guess she was embarrassed and knew i shouldn't talk to her, but i approached her anyway.

we hugged and talked briefly.

she told me she was disfellowshipped, she knew i wasn't attending meetings.

I have had that happen with a few of my disfellowshipped friends! And yet they still live immorally according to JW and are disfellowshipped. They are trying to make the stuck work for them! Keep away from apostate and being a beleiver but living immorally (gay, drinking, sex, etc.). My hope was to save them from their self misary like I did. But instead I notected we have become more distant. But every now in then they will say hi when I say hi!

Thank you bluegirl78 for your post sometimes I wonder what others think. Instead of being passive like many JW I wonder if they even think about stuff like this and wonder if it's truely important to consider! If or why the Governing Body felt the need to cover this if it was true or not... explaining some lies or truths behind this in their literture.

Nugget... yeah I can see what your saying but I was considering going back just based on well there is other religions that make their claims and have there errors maybe I can get back in and at least have my family to talk to and be considered "weak" but if these videos are true! Heck I don't want to be a hypercite to GOD! We were taught by the Bible that such support is wrong! Satanist! Seriously!! That's just to to far!
