I would say it depends, I would say if it's the oppisite sex and you guys are attracted to each other or maybe they think you are cute yes... if it's an old friend that is being silly or is afraid to say hi no... My best friend who is a JW and I'm not, pokes me because she can't talk to me but she wants to let me know she still thinks of me. :) Miss her.

  Cross for early Christmas gift from Mother in law... eck

  i had a wonderful thanksgiving with my husband's family and we spent the night.

  the next morning we had a good breakfast and decorated the tree.

  and my mother in law (my husband's step mom, who i adore and love) gave out early christmas gifts... ornaments, and a wow wow huge christmas cross to hang on the wall!

  I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my husband's family and we spent the night. The next morning we had a good breakfast and decorated the tree. And my mother in law (my husband's step mom, who I adore and love) gave out early christmas gifts... ornaments, and a wow wow huge christmas cross to hang on the wall! Geez It looks really cool actually kinda goes with the latin decor look. Anyways my problem is wow I still guess I'm hung up on the cross thing. I still feel the need to avoid things I feel will disrespect God. And yeah I feel hanging this cross will be so disrespectful.

  Any thoughts on the matter? I feel like packing it away and when ever she comes over bring it out during christmas time. Ha

  Well hopefully my hubby won't look at this post then lol but I got him an Amplafire for his guitar so he can start playing. I got my sister in laws buckle accessories... like jewery and stuff. I got their boyfriends a wallet and a button down from buckle too. Their kids toys. And my mother in laws PJs and necklace. I still have more I want to get but that's so far like $300 worth... lol

  it will be small, but it will be great.

  since im still living separate from my jw hubby, im going to take advantage of the freedom.

  I just got Christmas Ornaments from my dear mother in law... one has me and my husbands marriage the other has a snowman with baby written on it symbolizing that I'm pragnent! :) So so excited to have a tree for next year for sure!

  Personally I still don't celebrate Jesus Christ as part of Christmas but celebrate christmas as part of gift giving and a time to remember family and friends and those who love you... kinda like thanks giving... and then with the idea of yes thank you God for giving me such a wonderful family!! :)

  I still celebrate or remember Jesus sacrifies around Easter time... the way I was taught as a JW, Memorial Day. Not so much his birth I guess. But maybe I should start... ;)
