Totally open for suggestions
by Heartbreaker ini need a new focus.
having a lot of kids, it's easy to be wrapped up in taking care of them, and letting them be your center, but they are all gettting to that age of having their own thing.
my husband and i are good about taking time out to do things as a couple, and i've tried to get a new job off the ground.. i just still feel empty, and find myself getting sad about things that i should let me get sad.

Jeff, thank you. I could just kiss ya right now. I do need to take a chance. I'll find one. Then I shall blame it on you should it go poorly

Oh, lets not get crazy, there is still more than a handful under foot and roof, just that they can get up, dress for the day and play independently. Sheesh the youngest is 5!
So maybe something a little less intensive on the give back, and more on the take. I've given and given for a long time. Been a mom for 17 years, straight.
Still open to more suggestions, and checking out that hanggliding!
Oh, and I came THISCLOSE to volunteering in the Down Sydrome Guild....scheduling conflict got me.

I need a new focus. I come here too often. Having a lot of kids, it's easy to be wrapped up in taking care of them, and letting them be your center, but they are all gettting to that age of having their own thing. My husband and I are good about taking time out to do things as a couple, and I've tried to get a new job off the ground.
I just still feel empty, and find myself getting sad about things that I should let me get sad. I wish I had a place, and I'm realizing I really don't have one. I'm not really integral for anything anymore. I just need a new focus, something to try.
So...totally open to hearing what YOU would do if you had the time/money/desire (within reason)
Thanks in advance for the chiming in :)

Which poster would you like to have a beer (or Pepsi for the sober peeps) with? Why?
by serenitynow! ini've lurking for months, and have enjoyed the various personalities on the board.
i'm pretty sure that i've seen this topic done on an old thread, but i don't want to get my buddy asilentone all riled up by performing a resurrection.
minimus- cause he is funny.

Well I had other people in mind (even though no one picked me SNIFF) but I think I want to change it to BlueCanary and Palmtree, and watch them touch eachothers boobs.

the #1 reason i left the jws
by rockmehardplace inis because of the stupid lousy briefcases.
some of the briefcases brothers would use were horrible.
especially the ones that had the oversized briefcase with the luggage cart to carry it in..

Similiar story here. I'm pretty sure it was about the pantyhose and no flip flops.

My Dad Died Today
by cantleave inhe has been ill for some time, but it was still unexpected.
he was never a jw and i didn't really have a close relationship with him, since he remarried after my parents divorced.
i reunited with him in the mid 90's after over 10 years of not seeing him.. .

Sad news for sure my friend...sorry to hear it. Hope you and Nugget can deal with it on your own terms and heal. Care to share your favorite memory of him?

I don't tan, I burn. I wish I wasn't white because other races or colors of people are fascinating to me. I'd love to be part Brazilian for example :D
Those that are my FB friends know I'm beyond pale, despite having such dark hair.

I'm just plain ole white, and wish I wasn't.
