  I agree about being notified about PM via email or something...and then this is one I'll mention, for all I know this IS available, and I haven't figured it out yet...but I would like threads and posts I read to go away, or be hidden somehow (like not bolded, but regular font for example) so I can see what I've read already, and know where the posts leave off. I come back a few days later and have to go through and skim to find the last person I read and start again. I think it takes three times longer to catch up and enjoy the board.

  i hate to exercise, therefore i haven't really ever done it, and stuck with it.

  i've had 6 children, and am quite sedentary.

  i get really bad migraines when my blood pressure rises, hence hating excercise.. .

  Thank you Donny! I think I will start TOMORROW with your advice about walking a bit every day....I know, I know...just tomorrow because it's raining AGAIN all day with thunder and lightening. I miss the sun. Dang Midwest.

  Thanks Wildflower! I'm gathering by your response that I need to direct my desire to lose a specified amount of weight to perhaps a desire to reach an activity goal and feel good about that, and follow it up by good food choices. I believe that. And yes, 6 kids. It's insane. Had the first 2 months before I turned 20. Thanks JW early marraige and kids right away! If you have facebook, PM me, I'd love to add you on that side of life, then you can see all my crazy kids and 20 extra pounds (at least)

  in 90 days I'll have insurance, and then will likely do that BP...thanks!

  Peaches, what do you use to treat yours? I am starting (today) to use Armour Thyroid again. It's worked in the past, and I just go by how I feel, as it's more important than blood levels, especially since I also have Hashimotos Thyroiditis. It sucks.

  OOS - I've lost my head before, I still looked like I needed to lose weight, and I also looked like an asshole. Not good times.

  I hate to exercise, therefore I haven't really ever done it, and stuck with it. I'm 37.

  I've had 6 children, and am quite sedentary. I get really bad migraines when my blood pressure rises, hence hating excercise.

  I've had to go back and correct the spelling of excersice three or more times because I'm so unfamiliar with that word.

  I don't believe in cutting out entire food groups, doing crazy "eat only this" diets, or pills.

  I like to drink, mostly vodka in grapefruit juice. Is this really that bad?

  I like to cook, and I like food...but mostly grilled, baked, hardly EVER fried, and lots of veggies and salad. I think my portions are OK.

  I was in the past diagnosed with a slow thyroid, and haven't been taking my medication.

  Oh, and I hate excercise.

  So....with all that info, ADVISE PLEASE WHAT YOU WOULD DO!!?? I see pictures of myself on Facebook or whatever and I really think I don't look like that, until it's proven otherwise. I don't like that feeling.

  I actually embrace it, because it means (to them) that I'm not just weak, or confused, or even misinformed. I am unafraid, educated and vocal, and that keeps them right where I want them....far away from me.

  a childs point of view of shunning

  i was having a casual chat with my little girl of 6 last night ansd she said she loved her cousins (her disfellowshipped aunties girls ) then she said we also have some other familie that we have not seen for ages havnt we (i thought she had forgot them ) i said well thats because they belong to a silly religion that wont let them see us (her daddy is disfellowshipped ) she replied oh well lets go and see them instead then !

  how do i handle that ?.

  If they do that, then they are CUT OFF too...that should be felt out by the first time they get together at a neutral location, like a park, and then conversations on the way home about what was said when mom wasn't standing right there. It could be a good leason on how to treat people, what respect means, and what love looks like, if nothing else.

  At the end of the day, they'll probably ignore the mailing, and it'll be a moot point, but it'll feel proactive and loving for the daughter to take some sort of human reactive action in contacting family.

  If it were my 6 year old, I would sit down and color and "write" them a letter, inviting them into your lives, as people and family, for the sake of family and children, no religion involved (of course all she needs to know is the letter and the coloring) and send it. That way the cards are on the table for them, not you, and your child is satisfied you attempted to fulfill her request.

  36 godammed years (pun intended) and never heard from him, his right hand man, his millions of secretaries or associates.

  I did however get a lot of memos from their local earthly groupies blaming a ton of things on his competitor Satan and his assistants the demons.

  I know now that was a smoke screen too.
