What could happen is another split like the Worldwide church of God had. Some went of and are now worse than the original and the WCG itself went mainstream - or reformed

One thing we know for sure...The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society does not lose a dime on any of this activity. It is the local brother's and sister's who carry the responsibility for paying the money back. Just like any other mortgage holder, let them get in arrears and see how fast a form 'collection letter' appears. Get to far behind and the society, shuts them down....property sold!
Does anyone have any documented proof of this please.

I think that mainstreaming will be reforming Metranon. Thos who want reform see both as one and the same. The whole idea is to bring about enough changes to make it a safer place for people emptionally and physically and to give them the freedom to leave and even change to another belief without the ostracising that now takes place.
That is Mainstreaming/Reform
Since we all agree something has to happen, we can all work toward the same goal.

no offence all but jws meet three times per week.not five!
i consider the familiar statement about 5 meetings per week to be a good indication of just how indoctrinated a person is.

Thurs : T/M School = 1 meeting
Thurs : Serv Meet = 1 meeting

I have seen many posters state without reservation that JWs are cultic. I have also read posts by atheists, who seem to be convinced that there truly is no God. I'm not so sure that such ones can rightly make such asseverations with any degree of certainty

The basis of declaring the Watchtower Society a cult isn't based on what it teaches but on how it einforces it's teachings.
Sure, there are some in christian circles who still determine cultism on the basis of what groups teach, but you will find that there has been a widening gap between determining cultic behaviour and apologetics which deals with doctrines.
Have a look at these articles - they are basic but quick to read. Sure, one could go into the subject of undue influence in more depth, but I am sure you can asses quicely from this.

You will note on this site that it is not just the Watchtower society that is discussed ,but numerous other groups that claim to be the one true channel of God too plus some I even inclue many Christian churches that teach what is considered correct doctrines .....

to this day some have claimed that rutherford was buried secretly at beth-sarim or beth-shan anyway, even though the society has stated in print that rutherford's remains were sent to brooklyn for burial.. .
i remember/read somewhere that he was buried at staten island, new york.
can anyone confirm that?
As I said, one of the investors ripped all the others off actually, but since Lan had been the one who had got them into it, he was the one who lost out because he insisted in making sure they all got their money back at least.
Don't forget that it is the film makers who get the best deal.
What stunk is that the investor and the film maker were supposedly Christian brethren of Len and Marj ......

this is nothing to do with jws, but it is a true story.. one time i was with a few other mothers walking with our primary school children to the school bus.
the children were in front, with the mothers following just behind them.
one little girl had her underpants fall to her ankles.
That happened to me once Esther. I bent down and picked mine up and quickly stuffed them in my bag and kept walking. My girlfriends with me were so embarrassed and tried to now know me for a few minutes but I covered my embarrassment by laughing my head off. Mind you, when I got home I was so mortified.
A few weeks later there was a note in one of the magazines by someone who had seen it happen and who thought I was so cool.
What goes 'round comes 'round'. Was walking with one of those girlfriends another night, all dressed up to the 9's ..... and her half-slip elastic broke and to her feet it went. She stood stock still for a moment not knowing what to do and then looked at me and remembered .... and she too had a bag full of underwear
I wonder if it is an inborn instinct ?

Fat chance today, Jan! That mansion is worth at least 3.5 million dollars and I can prove it!
I know Farkel! That's why we all couldn't get the money together to buy it. Len Chretien was given first right to purchase it, but just coudln't afford it. He still hadn't recovered enough financially after the Witneses of Jehovah movie and being ripped off on that.
We all communicated about that time but between us all we just couldn't make it ...... We are in the wrong business, all of us. We should have made up our own cult and made some money and then we would have had enough $$$$$$
