This thread came up and like starved sharks with chum in the water, we went into a frenzy. A frenzy all over nothing at that.

You know, I shouldn't be so surprised that you reacted in this fashion, because that post wasn't necessarily offensive to our beloved Mrs.Anderson, but it was definately a scud missle intended to get a reaction out of her stalkeresque fans. You know Simon.........I'm yet to read the so called offensive post that sent this thread into a tizzy in the first place. All I see in this thread is a bunch of ego trippin-self congratulatory-out in the open apostates defending a damsel not in distress from the vile Anonymous Peanut Postate Posse. I threw that post out there fishing, and you bit it, hook, line, and sinker. I'm actually surprised that it was you that bit as I didn't take you for an overly sensitive guy. This whole thread is hilarious to me because there was nothing overly offensive directed toward Mrs.Anderson, but all you folks, particulary you men which really surprises me, felt the need to defend her honor, which wasn't attacked in the first place. I tell ya, if the WT ever decides to bomb Tennessee, you guys will make awesome human shields. You folks have traded the Faithful & Discreet Slave for yourselves.

I see a money making oppurtunity with this thread. Mrs.Anderson I'm going to PM you for the details. This kept me up all last night because we can make some serious guap with this idea. Listen to this.........we're going to market your bath water. All you have to do is get a bath like usual, but don't let the tub drain. If you're more of a showering type of gal, well, I need you to stop that immediately, and start taking baths. The more water, the more $$$$ for us. I need you to get jars like the southern folk use for iced tea. Take the jars and fill them up with your bath water. I'm thinking we Paypal it for roughly $25.99, and this will include shipping and handling. Considering its my idea, I'm thinking I should get 70% of the profit, but without your bathwater and adoring stans fans, my idea would sink like a mob snitch with concrete shoes in the Hudson River. he then explained to me that this week, for the local needs, congregations across the us will have a brother deliver a special outline on blood transfusions.. .

I recieved a pm from a friend asking to post the outline if possible and at the least do a summary of it. I couldn't get me hands on the outline tonight because my hands got tied with other matters. I did take as many notes as possible. Here's a brief summary for those interested.
The speaker started off with Psalms 127:3 which talks about sons being an inheritance. He used that verse to emphasize how as JWs we value our children's lives very much so. Then he mentioned Ecclesiastes 9:11 which talks about time and unforseen occurance. I like to refer to this verse as the shit happens verse. These verses sort of set the tone for the outline.
Next the speaker focused on the need for preperation before a situation happens involving the potential for a dispute over blood transfusions. He emphasized that its a parent's responsibility, but that doesn't absolve mature adolescents from being able to defend this doctrine. Deut. 12:23-25 was used to support this point. Afterwards 1 Pet 3:15 was mentioned, you might recall that verse as it talks about always being ready to make a defense. This part of the outline mentioned the need of the Family Worship Night to train our youth to defend the blood doctrine.
Also listed amongst the things to do list in regards to preperation, was locating cooperative doctors and to use the tools available to us such as the Hospital Liason Committee. It was emphasized at this point that parents bare responsibility for decisions made, and not the HLC. Prenatal Care was listed as important when it comes to unborn children and the Novemeber 2009 Awake article on Healthy Mothers, HEalthy Babies was mentioned.
Here's where the outline changed. Its the legal part of the talk. It starts off making the point that the Caesar's law doesn't give parents unlimited control when it comes to the final decision made on behalf of their children. Regardless parent still want to do all they can to avoid the misuse of blood. This includes asking hospital personel for advance notice of legal maneuvers in harmony with 1 Pet 3:15 to make a defense. We want the judge to appreciate that we love our children and we're not martyring our children on behalf of our faith. If given the oppurtunity to speak with the judge, we can request another doctor's opinion. We can ask the judge to talk to our child if he/she is a mature adolescent.
In conclusion, the outline focused on the possibility that a court order will come down that goes against the WT's blood doctrine. If that happens, we're to never waiver and to make sure that all involved understand our stand on blood. Remember that we'll never face this issue alone if it arrises and to avail ourselves to the elders, the HLC, and to trust in Jehovah. People may not agree with us, but they will nonetheless admire our faithfulness.
I apologize for how this reviews runs along, and for any typos. I'm getting ready to hit the sack, but I wanted to get this in for my buddy and anybody else that's interested. For those in the know, by all means correct me where I'm wrong on this post. G'night.

I think it goes without saying that Christians are more honorable and trustworthy than nonChristians, especially nonbelievers in any higher power. I wouldn't trust an atheist as much as they don't believe in God. They're unscrupulous individuals and lack the moral fortitude that Christians have to do whats right.

I love you Outlaw, but even if this is a story in progres...........is it a story in progress worth reporting? Remember that Tawana Brawley nonsense? Or the Duke Lacross rape fiasco? Or even that DA who already failed trying to prosecute Michael Jackson once, and then made another attempt with flimsy evidence right before he retired? This is the same thing, another bizarre attempt at slinging mud at the WT, and unfortunately Mrs.Anderson got Okey Doked into throwing her weight behind it.

Simon, with all due respect, I don't think you'll find anyone on here who doesn't appreciate what Mrs.Anderson has contributed to The Cause. However, its a disservice to her reputation, as well as the movement when someone of her caliber lowers the bar and gets involved with what I like to call Tabloid Apostacy. As someone who finds himself unwittiingly in the middle of a rock and a hard place as a born in JW who's in too deep to simply walk away, I don't exactly appreciate it when someone gets my hopes up with tabloid threads. Its especially unsettling when its a poster who's reputation precedes them, such as Mrs.Anderson. Not only that, but I'm still yet to find the post that was particulary offensive to Mrs.Anderson and her constituents. The lack of such an inflammatory post, at least inflammatory in my definition of the word, leaves me questioning whether she's above criticism. The comment by Betsy, I found even more disturbing as he likened anyone who has constructive criticism for the so called elite of WT apostates, to be anonymous peanuts. This is one anonymous peanut poster who would have smacked flames out of him had I been in the same room with him after he verbally made such a comment.
