Its kinda funny watching Bane in here. It reminds me of when I was teenager and would go and wreak havoc on AOL chatrooms. I used to refer to myself as the Tick-Tock the Terrorist. Back then it used to amuse me to no end watching people get so upset about it. This forum really needs an ignore button. As it stands now, trolls and teenagers can come here and pretty much hijack a thread with minimal difficulty. This thread is so far beyond repair now, and all for what? The amusment of a teenager.

Hemp lover thats interesting. I'm starting to wonder lately, is it me or do Conservatives seem to whine the loudest? I remember when Bush was in office, obviously the liberal populace didnt like him. But I pick up on a different kind of animosity when it comes to Conservatives disliking Obama. Its almost like they're jealous or envious of him. Look at B-Rock for instance, you would think Obama raped his mother and made him watch it. Conservative sentiments on Obama come off so silly. Like a kid going, nah-nah-nah!! Its Pathetic. I wonder also if people making fun of Palin is playing a role into Conservatives being overly concerned with public opinion of Obama.

I am itching for a fight today. It's a slow day at work, and I'm stuck here until 6pm.
On a serious note, it is nice to see dudes fulfilling their responsibilities. For the past 30 years we've become accustomed to single mothers, illegitimate babies, deadbeat daddies, etc.. Seems like the trends are finally reversing themselves. I don't think its a result of conservative policies either. I think so many people have grown up without daddies or have mothers who had them way too young, that people are making sure they're not repeating the same mistakes. Breaking the chains I guess.

Wiping baby drool, changing diapers and pushing strollers should strictly be for women to perform. God didnt create women to do anything else other than to be caretakers. That's a woman's sole purpose on this earth. Consider a woman's hips for example. The reason a woman's hips are as wide as they are is to prevent anything from getting around her and interferring with the carriage. She can use her eyes to see whats in front of her. Everything behind her will have a difficult time getting around her hips.
A woman's hands are smaller and softer specifically for the purpose of changing diapers. Manly hands are too big and rough to handle such sensitive areas, so that should be a woman's job. Really when you think about it, a woman's genetic makeup causes her to be subservient and prone to being a caretaker.

I have to bump this thread, to share a recent experience.
Yesterday at work, I went to the bathroom for a moment. When I got back to my cubicle, there was a manilla folder on my chair. I thought to myself, what friggin cause do they want me to contribute to now?!?!?! Sick of giving these people my money. However, when I opened the folder, it was a birthday card for one of my coworkers. Great. Now I'm wishing it would have been a cause to donate funds toward. I'm an adult, and I pride myself on being a man, and you know I still get nervous and indecisive when presented with birthday or holiday related issues? It's so ridiculous. I really didnt know what to do. You would think I was confronted with death or losing a limb. I was debating whether it would be acceptable to sign the card as "Congratulations, you made it to another year! Signed Misery!" I've done that before because I didnt have the balls to sign, "Happy Birthday from Misery!" You might hear me drop an F-Bomb under stress before you hear me every say, "Happy Birthday!" At any rate, I held onto it for a couple minutes, and made it seem like I was signing something. There's enough people working here that nobody would notice if I didnt actually sign anything. I then walked the folder over to the side of the floor that hadn't seen the card yet. End of story? Nope.
Sticking with the theme of this thread, that being fear of eating demonic cupcakes...... I come to work this morning, and they're having a food day for some new hires, and some student interns who are leaving us. So I see a box full of cupcakes, and I said to myself, "I'll get one later." I sit down at my desk, and go through my emails, and there it is. The cupcakes are not related to the food day, rather the cupcakes are on behalf of the birthday girl from yesterday. I want a friggin cupcake right now, but I'll hate myself in the morning for eating one, and not for dietary reasons. I'll really feel like I sinned from eating a birthday cupcake. How silly is all of this?
You know, I've never been afraid of standing up for myself. People tell me I can be assertive, agrresive, even abrasive with my speach at times. I just refuse to take anybody's BS. I've developed a reputation to some degree. But you know what? I get flustered and confused, when someone says to me, "Merry Christmas!" Or, "Happy New Years!" When responding to those simple greetings, I get hot, nervous, and start mumbling and scrambling for words. Its so stupid. I feel like that kid in the opening post of this thread.

I blame the film industry. The days of John Wayne, Charles Bronson, Steve McQueen, even Bruce Willis are over, and it has have given way to...Matthew Mcconaughey...and sparkly emo vampires.
I agree with you on the sparkly emo vampires. Dawson's Creek and the WB channel from the late 90's to early 2000 set that nonsense in motion I believe. Matthew Mcconaughey is a manly man. I like that guy. He's one of the few actors I actually like. From his roles, to the way he carries himself off camera. He stays in shape, does what he wants. He's not above smacking a journalist whos out of line. If I remember correctly, he likes to smoke too, and I don't mean cigarettes. I think he got arrested when some cop got a complaint about loud music. They went to his hourse, and he was in there butt naked with some other cat high as kite. They were having a jam session, I thinkin he was playing the bongos, and the other cat had a guitar. To me he's truly one of the fellas. Plus his roles have been manly too. Take Reign of Fire, or Frailty. Or one of my all time favorites, Dazed & Confused.
There's still manly actors out there. Denzel Washington, Christian Bale, even Jack Black. The question to me is, how do you define a "manly" man? Is it the felon who just got out of the bing? Is it the long haired stoner/slacker? Is it the dapper guys in Vodka commercials? What about the 9-5 guy with the wife and kids who's starting to grow a pot belly, and argues with his neighbor about trimming the bush thats growing over his side of the fence? What is a manly man?
