  while an earlier version was made available privately the time has come to 'progress'.. conscious class and ex both strongly adhere to not keeping things 'hidden' in regards to wts publications, talks and documents which are circulated in order to maintain it's position.. another wonderful poster (who has yet to give me permission to name) has 'reduced' and 'bookmarked' the first full copy link i was given by our 'winner'.. in this newest and final 'clean' copy link you find two other additions besides the reduction/bookmarking..... the brother who uploaded the entire book wishes all to have a copy that includes both boe ltrs (pre-ks ltr and spiral binding ltr).

  also another development has occurred.... the brother responsible for this book being brought into light and put forth for public consumption and discussion has requested i post this letter explaining to 'us' (jwn posters/global audience) and 'them' (wts of penn & ny).. i ask you give attention to his words/ experiences as he is representative of a newly emerging demographic within the conscious class.

  I Miss Field Service!

  yep, i miss those good old field service days but now i'm not allowed to join in the house to house work.

  so i've decided to do what i was taught to do instead; letter writing.. i'm going to take the money i once contributed to the kingdom hall and buy stamps with it.

  then i'll give a good witness to many in my area or in my state or across the country.

  I was in field service yesterday and felt like a complete idiot. We worked a college neighborhood, and there was a big home game yesterday. These folks were happy, smiling, laughing, flirting with each other, all getting ready to go to the game etc.. Being completely honest, I envied them. Here I am walking up the street with this old pioneer/elder discussing how we can encourage the friends. Meanwhile I was getting more discouraged with every second being with him. Beautiful college girls everywhere and this old dude boring the hairs off my face. Listening to him was like watching paint dry or toenails grow. One thing about college neighborhoods, they're more receptive to JWs in the sense of accepting the literature. Which is often more than you can ever expect from other neighborhoods. Don't expect anything to transpire from a RV with college folks though. They're nice young people, but they're not stupid. What they lack in experience, they make up for with research on the internet, which is very damning to proWT/JW spin control. The only good thing I got out of field service yesterday was a little bit of mild exercise walking a ton of steps, and young eye candy.

  Wow that was a nail biter. I loved seeing the anxiety in that stadium. Pharmacies made a killin off a Xanax this weekend. That last pitch was suspect though. Another ump would have called that low. The only reason I ain't complaining is because he was calling them like that all night. Good series though. Tip my hat to San Fran. I aint rooting for either Texas or San Fran in the Series though. Doesn't really matter to me. Should be a good series though.

  Wsup with the Giants pitcher's beard? He looked like Artexerxes or Capt Ahab. His hair is brown, and his beard is jet black like the infomercial guy that died this past summer of a heart attack.

  There was a dude I came to know right after high school when I was running with certain unscrupulous people, and they called this dude Devil, and occasionally Satan. Him and I got along, but I made it a point not to spend too much time with him. He really was a scary guy. He wasn't physically impressive, but something about his demeanor would make you hesitate to underestimate him. He just had a way about him that made you leary. I don't ever recall him being a gunslinger or a dope boy, but all of his peers treated him like he was from a different realm than the rest of mankind. I'm talking guys that really did have reputations that they earned, but these guys would give him a different kind of respect. Nobody I know could ever explain why he was treated this way. Just one of those things that goes without saying I guess.

  How DID the first century Christians keep things going without the Watchtower to control every aspect of their lives and keep them in line???

  Exactly. The reality is we don't have a complete picture of the sort of lives that first century Christians led. The scriptures even indicate that much of the historical record of Jesus' life is missing. (John 21:25) With that being the case its inappropriate for the WT to make stories up about the lives of those Christians. Its even more inappropriate and downright unethical and wicked to put a figurative knife to our backs in order to ensure we nod our head in agreement to their made up stories. Then they have the audacity to quote 1 Cor 4:6 about "not going beyond what is written." They go beyond what is written every time they pressure you to pioneer, auxilliary pioneer, special pioneer, not to miss the Friday session of the District Convention, blah blah blah. We can go on and on all day about all the things the WT expects of the Flock that isn't remotely scriptural. But don't you invite a few friends over to celebrate the day of your son's birth!! Ohhh nooooo!!! There's less repurcussions over getting wasted off alcohol or viewing pornography in this organization than celebrating the birth of your child. Gotta love it!

  niether Jesus or his Appostles celebrated them despite knowing all about them.

  Jesus and His apostles didn't celebrate wedding anniversaries either. After he died, the apostles didn't have annual meetings at Beth-El. The apostles didn't have a Tuesday night book study, a Thursday night Theocratic Ministry School followed by a Service Meeting. They didn't have a public talk delivered on Sundays, followed by a WT Study. They didn't have Circuit Assemblies, District Conventions, there was no such thing as a Regular Pioneer, Auxilliary Pioneer, Special Pioneer, Circuit Overseer, District Overseer, Branch Committee, territories, publishers, turning in of field service time to the older men within the community, the enforcement of shaving causing severe razor bumps for many, wearing full suits as opposed to a blazer or sports coat with decent slacks..................we can go on and on and on........how far do you want to go with this?

  Again, if the new Flock book is any indicator, there might be slight loosening on how we view holidays in The Truth. (how do you guys to the trademark thing anyway?) What makes it particulary sickening to me is if they do loosen their views on holidays, the average Witness is too brainwashed to recognize that this is NOT new light, but it is in fact showing that those men had not a foot to stand on regarding their previous view of holidays in the first place. It wasn't new light, it wasn't truth because it had to be changed. Meaning, they were wrong about it the whole time we labeled it truth.

  i have overcome most of it in life and am happy now.

  I remember when I first read this post, and for whatever reason never posted a response. But man I feel the same sick feeling as I felt the first time reading it. My heart goes out to you Laverite. No young person, or anybody for that matter should have to go through that. I swear this organization is screwed up on so many levels. Its sick and depraved.
