he called at 8:44 a.m. to invite me to the meeting.
the meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. if i did decide to go he didn't give me much notice to get ready.
but i guess that doesn't matter.
You are absolutely correct. He dropped the ball, but will blame you in the end.
"Brother Pass-the-buck, did you visit Doublelife and invite them?"
"Of course I did. But they had more important things to do than come for your part"
... i think i'll watch anyway when betty white hosts may 8..
Mr Robinson's Neighborhood was there best effort. I do agree with Shamus, many of the sketches left me scratching my head as to why they were there..

</form></form>for more than 25 years, the irs denied tax-exemption to the church of scientology.
Tax payers have subsidized religion for too long by them not paying tax on property and holdings. Why do they do this?
im sure the question has been brought up before on this board and i imagine that for many of us the answer is patent.
however, i recently saw a documentary on pbs regarding the mormons and it stated categorically that the church of jesus christ of latter day saints is not a cult.
given that it has its own set of strangeness and history of revision as has the wtbts, could it also (the jw) be considered a main stream, although minor religion?.
The JW's get real upset when reffered to as a Cult, just as the Mormons do.
When I first came to this site, I heard many make that claim and didn't think it applied to them. Now I do. They are dangerous, very dangerous, and try hard to control every thought of its members to keep them in line.
witnesses are supposed to be "exemplary" and not like the "world".
yet some jws are pretty notorious.. did you know of any jws that did some real bad things?.
i knew a pious witness who got caught twice trying to solicit prostitutes.
They not only pretend they are better, but make a concerted effort to cover up and hide the real bad stuff that goes on inside (see molesters of children as one example or wife beaters, "don't go to the police and bring reproach on the org.")
any comments?
google has news about this latest event.. .
.
For me, that's really a cool picture.
For the WT? Just one more thing that the end is neigh. "And there will be landslides in one place after another"
after watching this traditional / cultural dance below, do you think the elder was right to brand it as unchristian?
if yes, then is there such thing as a 'christian dance'?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90xrdyruyn8&feature=player_embedded.
Scott77 - That dancing probably made him sin, so he had to mark it as un-christian.
And on a side note, that hurt my back just watching them. How do they do that?
Excuse me, as I have to go take a cold shower now.

We had a young JW while spaced out on drugs, raped a 82 year old women, slit her throat, then cut off her arms. Some said, he also was tasting her blood (Did not come out in court though)
The police found him near her covered in blood, singing songs.
He was sentenced to life in prison.
my brother in law left us and went to his heaven to be with his dad today at 1:20pm pacific.
it took his strong body almost two days to give up its fight.
now we can move on..... his daughter is due to have a new baby on may 20th....a very sad and very happy time and the continuation of life..
I'm sorry to hear that.
