i just do.. if a thread title has misspelled words or someone's rant has misspelled words, all i see are those ragged, misplaced letters all akimbo.. it's like watching early morning tv and i can't notice anything said by the fat woman who doesn't know how to dress for her figure.. i just think silently ... ( SHOCK HORROR AND SURPRISE) This international board allowas people of all ages and educational ability regardless of their ability to spell in English.

This board exists because people have the courage to partisipate despite your judgementalism.

Religion, a force for good?

is religion a force for good?.

the knee jerk reaction from most people who hold to a religious belief is "yes, of course it is.

" then when you point out that religion is used to motivate people to commit suicide bombings they will likely concede that this isn't always the case.. in one instance though someone said religion is always a force for good because the intentions are always good, even those of a suicide bomber.

If people had faith they wouldnt need a religon.

Religons are made up of people having to conform to a groups thinking.

I think it is important to fill the mind with positivity and optimistim. Life doesnt need to be perfect to be wonderful.People can inspire one other (for example)through how they cope with adversity- This is the spiritual instinct that can in my mind be a force for for good. Of course many do this without a spiritual instinct.

the main pillar of the watchtower sytem is living a lie.. i have concluded most jehovers witnesses live within a lie.

they need not accept the lie.

it is enough for them to have accepted their life with it and in it.. most witnesses are not even enthusiastic to aquaint the public with the life saving knowledge they claim to posess.

I agree with 1 Tim 4.2. But as for Romans1.25 most witnesses have only ever known watchtower teachings, So it cant be said as individuals they exchanged truth for a lie.

I have concluded most Jehovers Witnesses live within a lie. They need not accept the lie. It is enough for them to have ACCEPTED THEIR LIFE WITH IT AND IN IT.

Most witnesses are not even enthusiastic to aquaint the public with the life saving knowledge they claim to posess. But what most witnesses are trying to communicate by their meeting attendence, and witness atire, and time spent in the ministry is a signal to those who hold watchtower power their willingness to conform and obey-SAD

when i was ex-communicated by the jw s a couple of years ago one thought ran through my mind.

had i commited the unforgivable sin?.

i have willingly divorced my wife without a scriptual reason for it.
