"No organisation for me!" A question for ex JW Christians
by Chalam inobviously the wt is a best a man made organisation and publishing company.
at worst it is far darker.. anyhow, i understand why an exjw would be cautious to join another organisation.. however, god does have one and it is called the church.. .
matthew 16:18 (new international version)18and i tell you that you are peter, and on this rock i will build my church, and the gates of hades will not overcome it.. it is not a denomination or even a religion, it is just the collective of all born again believers who have come to jesus and are build on his foundation.. 1 peter 2:4-5 (new international version) 4as you come to him, the living stonerejected by men but chosen by god and precious to him 5you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to god through jesus christ.. ephesians 2:19-22 (new international version) .

Hi Stephen
"To be or not to be that is the question" and providing a" person proves himself to be what he shall prove to be" and it is acceptable with Christ then that association must be approved and spiritually uplifting.
Maybe many people dont rationalise their faiths. iIs instintive and guided by the Holy Spirit. Maybe those that have no faith in God but love thier neighbour as themselfs may find themselfs approved true followers of Christ-
I mean take Thomas for example and the other disiples they certainly wernt true belivers when approved by Christ.

Pioneer newly Widowed Sister complains...Brothers read her scriptures instead of supporting her!!!
by Witness 007 ineven while her husband was dying and afterwards brothers would visit her and read scriptures about the resurrection and paradise???
wtf!!!
!she said she knows those scriptures by heart and instead just wanted some support and to cry...which is what we did when we went to see her.....it's such a cold sterile, robotic religion.

The problem for an elder saying "Let me know how I can help" as opposed to simply reading scriptures is simple. Good Samaritan behaviour is not compatible behaviour for religiouse scribes.
Its been the same old story for thousands of years.

Wouldnt the Good Samaritan be good assocition for a follower of Christ.
Tell me where and by whos authority did the term Christian come?
The term Christian seperates people in the same way denominations divide.
If Christian association means accepting teaches that are interpretations of people. If it means a person who is seen as superior in spirituality becauuse he accepts an organisational denominations concept and interpretation of being a follower of Christ. Then its not for me.
Stephen if the Samaritan was approved association by Jesus then so can the muslin the atheist or the (Well read the History books of the holocaust)

Why does the media leave JW alone?
by Aussie Oz inlargly, i found over the years, the media seldom runs stories on jws.
sure there is the odd sensation in a paper about a child not having blood or something or some brief mention.. why has the media not got hold of the child abuse situation?
with the mainstream church's in australia and globally, they had a field day.

I think the media is not aware of them.
The Church of scientology gets as lot of attention. But their profile is higher. They regularly promote themselfs on this board-
Maybe if Tom Cruice converts?
