  Mill Hill Disfellowshippings

  a few months ago there was a thread about a couple of elders at the mill hill bethel being disfellowshipped because they disagreed with some wt doctrine (i can't recall exactly what it was) and that several other betheliteswere under 'investigation'.

  i haven't heard anything since, does anyone know anything more about this?.

  Do you remember Adrian Robinson. He left the bethel and renounced his eldership in the name of love.(Actually he was given little choice)

  The price you pay for follwing in love with a weak sister. Bet his no longer associated with the organisation.

  Incidently you are a very lucky man you have your freedoom and you still got a loving wife. You can also( maybe) have something no betherlite can have. A KID

  Good luck you are a man of action and action is necessary to defeat the daily assults of fear and worry you may have . I would reccomend" Norman Vincent Peale" his books condition your mind to be positive and enthusiastic about life. All this is supportrd by his belief in God.

  wrote this phrase and to me it is the best and simplest way of rendering the new understanding at its most ludicrous.. ''we believe that the generation that saw the generation that saw 1914 will not pass away until all these things occur''.

  this will evidently be extended to ''the generation that saw the generation that saw the generation that saw 1914'' etc.

  Today I met a brother out with his watchtowers.I asked what he thought of apostate teachings. I got the pridictable answer. I then explained the new teaching on what Jesus presumably meant with the term generation. The conversation finnished with me getting very irate that he was distributing apostate literture with the watchtower he was offering the public.

  Iam seriously considering going to the meeting raising my hand and enlightning the congregation on the new teaching-

  it occurd to me (being relativly new to the internet) that the internet allows the world to unite under the blanket of freespeach.. the internet really has moved humanity forward, people of all races and nationalities, all religions and sexual prefrences have had the internet as a tool to change the thinking of people.. maybe the internet will be the one thing that keeps our blood being spilled by some fanatical government that seeks to divide our countries?.

  on a smaller note a poster named "minimus" started a topic titled "does your life have meaning.

  " it occurd to me that this board exsposes the watchtower organisation .people myself included have been freed because of the internet.

  You said "the physiology of the brain is such that for every negative thought ,you nees at least 12 positive thoughts to nullify the damaging effects from 1 negative one."

  It is worth remembering positive thinking can be very dangerouse.( I say this as a great beliver in positive thinking) But from exsperience positive thinking can be as damaging as negative thinking if it is not combined with realistic thinking .

  So I would say "creativehoney" Apply positive realistic thinking and remember LIFE DOESNT NEED TO BE PERFECT TO BE WONDERFUL.
