Yes its true happiness does not result from accepting established and changing Jehovers Witnesses beliefs.Sadly leaving the Witnesses can be a miserble jorney also. But al least we can believe in ourselfs and have self-respect.

i believe this is incorrect.. i only make this comment because if we were to repeat the thought that the witnesses were members of the united nations, such misinformation could backfire on us..

My Jehovers Witness Baptism-
by acolytes ini wanted to be free from my jehovers witness baptism because i realised i had imprissoned myself.. i wanted reality ,real love, real life, real connections,real achivements and these were all the things my baptisam had taken from me.. then it dawned on me that simply by baptism never happened and anyone who considers it valid does so because their thinking is wrong-.
the whole thing was simply based on lies and only exists through the false thinking of people- as the fleetwood mac song goes.
"tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies" and thats all my baptisam was lies-so to me it never existed and never happened.. acolytes..

My story pt 3 "Freedoom"
by acolytes inchoosing my freedoom from the congregation of course doomed me to its approval, which had no sympathy.
(seeing me as a victim of satan).
it felt strange being cut off from a vital past.

What is an elder?
by acolytes ini have concluded that elders are people who take it as their right to torture any baptised member of the congregation who will not conform to their standards.. why do i say this?.
basically i think they see anyone who does not live up to their standards as a threat in which they risk exposure to fealings they would rather die than face.
(the irony they pride themselfs in thinking they are in the "truth").

Quakers
by S EIGHT ini've been doing some research today on the quakers and so far i quite like what i see.. the main reason is the lack of dogma or creed and the freedom to have views of your own.
however, i am still researching and no way am i considering joining them - i just like what i see so far.. i wondered if anyone else - ex jw, has taken a look at this faith.
if so, what were your conclusions?.
