Mill Hill Disfellowshippings
by BorgHater ina few months ago there was a thread about a couple of elders at the mill hill bethel being disfellowshipped because they disagreed with some wt doctrine (i can't recall exactly what it was) and that several other betheliteswere under 'investigation'.
i haven't heard anything since, does anyone know anything more about this?.

wrote this phrase and to me it is the best and simplest way of rendering the new understanding at its most ludicrous.. ''we believe that the generation that saw the generation that saw 1914 will not pass away until all these things occur''.
this will evidently be extended to ''the generation that saw the generation that saw the generation that saw 1914'' etc.

Today I met a brother out with his watchtowers.I asked what he thought of apostate teachings. I got the pridictable answer. I then explained the new teaching on what Jesus presumably meant with the term generation. The conversation finnished with me getting very irate that he was distributing apostate literture with the watchtower he was offering the public.
Iam seriously considering going to the meeting raising my hand and enlightning the congregation on the new teaching-

how do I banish negative thinking?

You said "the physiology of the brain is such that for every negative thought ,you nees at least 12 positive thoughts to nullify the damaging effects from 1 negative one."
It is worth remembering positive thinking can be very dangerouse.( I say this as a great beliver in positive thinking) But from exsperience positive thinking can be as damaging as negative thinking if it is not combined with realistic thinking .
So I would say "creativehoney" Apply positive realistic thinking and remember LIFE DOESNT NEED TO BE PERFECT TO BE WONDERFUL.

i believe this is incorrect.. i only make this comment because if we were to repeat the thought that the witnesses were members of the united nations, such misinformation could backfire on us..

Minimus . Yes its better to get it right. But I have evidence from here to washington D.C that Jehovers Witnesses are wrong on most of their teachings.If a Jehovers Witness wants to nick-pick on the phrasing with their association as members of the U.N its nit-picking- They are deaf dumb and blind to hearing anything that threatens their beliefs. Sadly they also add nit-picking to that list.
