  It's VERY DIFFICULT for some JWs to accept the Truth-------But for other not so much------WHY?

  what is it about some jws that they can't see the flip-flops of the wt's changing doctrine?.

  some of the flip-flops involved the death of many of it's members, and it was not even biblical based.

  yet for some reason they can't seem to grasp the significance of the matter.

  in one form or another i've been a member of this site for almost 10 years.

  in the past this was a great place for debate, news and support for ex jws.

  i logged on several times a day and posted several times a week.

  hi all.. i'm 42 years old.

  i have had two jabs of the oxford-astrazeneca vaccine.. after my first jab i experienced flu-like symptoms - shivering, wanted to lie down in a dark room, etc.. i experienced no side effects after my second shot.. how about you?.

  how many jabs have you had?.

  i just watched excerpts from his cnn town hall event and something is seriously wrong with him.

  he can’t put together a sentence without getting lost, tripping on his own words, forgetting what he is talking about.……this is embarrassing.

  What Do You Think About Home Schooling?

  i knew a few witnesses who were very proud of the fact that their kids were homeschooled.

  years ago, i would raise my eyebrows wondering why these families couldn’t simply integrate their kids with other “worldly” kids.

  at this point in time, with so many theories being pushed on kids and their parents, i can see why parents, if they are qualified, could instruct their kids themselves.

  The best home schooling is very good indeed but unfortunately a lot of it is mediocre to poor. Most Witness home schooling tends to be mediocre but certainly not all. I knew one family that home schooled and the mother had a teaching degree, the difference was obvious.

  Covid Vaccine - Which One

  i had just about decided to get the johnson & johnson vaccine and the issue of the guillain barre syndrome came up.

  i realize it's a distant possibility but it gave me pause to reconsider.

  i'm not fully onboard with the mrna method yet.. if you received the vaccine ..... which one, and can you share why that one?.

  I got the Pfizer vaccine because it seems like the most effective and indications are that resistance to the virus are quite lasting. The MRNA horror stories are nonsense for the gullible in my opinion.

  there is a proverb that speaks of four things as never being satisfied, as never saying, “enough.” sometimes jehovah’s witnesses, as they listen to congregation servants discuss field service, may think these servants could have been listed as a fifth class that never says, “enough.” it may seem that they are never satisfied, as they urge better meeting attendance, more home bible studies and increased door-to-door activity.

  to have servants who say “it is enough” before the work is finished would be disastrous to the congregation.

  Always hated that article. I knew a real pig of a Circuit Overseer that was continually quoting from it decades later. I believe he actually got Brooklyn to reprint it in a much later Watchtower.
